Novel & Cerita Trinity Blood Novel

It sloshed around until it filled to the top. Veronica removed the needle and the smell of her blood wafted up to me. I was still in my demon form! Shit! My bloodlust started to come out as my eyes instantly went to the spot where a drop of blood seeped out over her fair skin. My throat started to burn and itch as it began to crave for blood. I gulped and forced my eyes to look away. After the second vial was full, it felt like pure torture. Veronica bandaged up Arisa, stopping the bleeding but it was too late. The smell of blood filled the room.

I close the old book and read the inscriptions on the grimoire dark green cover. 'BLOOD IS KEY.' They weren't just inscriptions. They were instructions. Immediately I understood what I needed to do. I pricked my thumb with my ear ring and poured droplets of my blood on the blank pages and I was shocked by what happened next. The previously blank pages were no longer empty. Suddenly writings in crimson blood formed filling up all the pages. Dixie was right, they weren't hidden, just waiting for me to discover.

Because something about that kind of scream doesn’t let people stay put. We stepped into the hallway and the hospital changed in front of us. What had been controlled panic upstairs had become full collapse downstairs. Footsteps everywhere. Doors slamming. Voices overlapping until nothing made sense anymore. Then the smell hit. His Blood was everywhere. We reached the lobby and everything stopped feeling real. Daniel was on the floor. Blood spread beneath him like it had been given permission to take over the room. The gun lay a few feet away, untouched now, almost forgotten in the middle of all the chaos it caused.

It turned out that people like them eventually meet someone worse. I lowered the brim of my cap and turned to leave, not wanting to be recognized. However, fate has a twisted sense of humor. My leather shoe stepped on a dry leaf. Crunch. Brian's head snapped up. Our eyes met. His eyes went wide. Like he had seen a ghost. Or a savior. "Bro?!" That single shout drew everyone's attention. My dad looked up, too, a flicker of light in his eyes. "Chester… Chester!"

The thick, dark primordial blood of a century-old vampire welled from the deep cut. "Drink, Brynn," Riheirk commanded, his voice raw and desperate as he pressed his bleeding wrist firmly against her lips. "Drink from me. Let my blood purge the poison. Accept it, sweetheart, please." Brynn’s jade eyes flickered. Driven by her own fading strength and the desperate, triumphant internal screaming of Solar, her jaw parted. She bit down lightly on his wrist, her lips drawing the heavy, white-hot furnace of his primordial blood into her system.

I tugged at my tie to loose it as I walked up the grand staircase just to find it covered in blood. "Shit." Elsie had to know something was wrong I though as I examined my blood filled shirt. Why hadn’t I paid more attention? No one could rip off someones limbs and carry the lifeless body on their shoulders without getting the persons blood every where. I had to stop making mistakes, I was starting to leave loose ends. Loose ends that would have to cleaned up. I like Elsie, I really do, she has been very loyal to me throughout the years but this just might have to be the end to our friendship.

Dominic stood in his bathroom, and shaved before getting dressed in another black suit. He’d sat vigil the whole night, remembering odd things about Conrad. They were mostly horrific memories but there were a few good ones, mostly after Hunter and Gage were born and then also Inara. Mist had descended over the countryside. There was no wind, and the mist hung like a bad omen. Dominic’s SUV drove behind the hearse towards the city and the church where the funeral mass would be held.

I pressed. He stepped closer. Close enough that I could see the tiny scar at the corner of his mouth. “Because some things deserve being burned.” He left me then, and I stood in the hush of the room with a pulse in my throat that sounded like a drumroll. The plan was set. Trapani’s night would hold its breath and then exhale metal and manifest. Some loyalties could be negotiated out of a map and a ledger. Some would require blood.

I tightened my grip and replied calmly, “Don’t worry. Even if I strangle a piece of trash like you with my bare hands, those snipers won’t be able to stop me. Trust me—I’m no rookie either.” I raised my voice, locking eyes with him. “Still haven’t figured out what to say to save your pathetic life?” Suddenly, sirens blared in the distance. Dozens of vehicles were pulling up. Nathan, his voice hoarse and cracked, screamed, “You’re done for! They’re here now—just wait for the bullets! Mr. Andy Stormbringer will never let you live!” I clenched my hand even harder. But how could I let him die so easily?

I choke and gag kicking my legs until I feel the blackness start to take over. **************** Hunter I slam my brakes on in the middle of the village and jump out looking for any clue to where I'm supposed to go. We hear another roar and I snap my head in the direction and take off running with Orion beside me. We run up a field and come round the trees facing towards a hill. In the far distance I can see Diana's small frame suspending Bonnie off the ground by one arm. Bonnie's lifeless limbs dangle in the air. Another man is running towards them but as he gets close enough Diana shoots out her other arm and knocks him to the ground.
