Novel & Cerita Tris And Four

The images flashed uninvited in my mind. They made me want to be sick. Naomi’s voice cut through my thoughts again. Dragging me back to the horror. “I won’t let you near them,” she snapped, her finger jabbing at me. “Never.” “They’re all mine.” “As a matter of fact. Not only Alpha Theo and Alpha Harlan. The remaining two alphas are also mine.” I stared at her, stunned. My mouth fell open a little. The four of them…? The quadruplets? All of them? So she had all four Alphas wrapped around her finger? Was she that greedy?

It seemed like she was only going to give me a silent treatment throughout. “Alright,” I said. “Um, so I guess I’ll start… I could tell you a little about myself. You know, what it’s like to be one of four quadruplet brothers—I mean, not that there are tons of us out there in the world. But hey, at least I’m kind of a rare breed.” I caught her eyes roll but I shrugged and went ahead to keep talking.

They fought as if pain didn't exist, dodging, blocking, striking with relentless precision. "The last tier?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper. Marvel hesitated before answering. "Tier 4 is different. Only three people hold that rank—the Masters. No one else even comes close. Not yet." She tilted her chin slightly. "And then there's Trix. She hasn’t taken her eyes off you since you got here." I followed her gaze. Trix. Her stare could bury me six feet under. Piercing, unrelenting. The kind of look that made your skin crawl.

Why threaten the one person who sees me, actually sees me, when the world squints and shrugs? “Who was this from?” I asked, voice quivering. Trina exhaled slowly. Her fingers fidgeted with the hem of her gown. “Well… I don’t know. I’ve been getting them.” “What?” “This is the fourth one,” she confessed quietly. “Fourth?! When? And you didn’t tell me?” “I didn’t think it was serious. It’s just paper, if you ask me.” “Trina! Did you ever plan to tell me?” She bit her lip. “I never planned to. You’ve got enough crap to deal with.”

“The stronger the wolf, the more mates they can sustain bonds with. Four mates means you’re much more powerful than anyone knows.” Despite the indignation that coursed through me—having a fourth mate felt like a curse, not a blessing—part of me was curious about what this mysterious fourth mate might be like. Was he another cocky asshole like Lucas? Another brooding jerk like Rowan? Or something else entirely? But mostly, I just hoped I never ran into him. Three mates were already more trouble than I knew what to do with. “Can we continue training?” I asked. “I want to get stronger so I can figure out how to deal with the Elders.”

Four said as Tris frowned at the nickname Four gave her. " You really couldn't do any better than that Forty!" "Forty!" Four questioned "yah aren't yah!" Tris said swinging her long lashes at Four unintentionally making Four's throat go all dry. " i think we should leave!" Four said "Shouldn't you wait for Gigi to recover?"(Tris) " the longer she stays her the more damage she do to the people and herself."with that Four went inside Gigi's room. pulled her up in a bridal style and started walking out.

"Once we go down there, there's no clean way back up. Whoever set this trap wants you specifically. If you come, you're walking toward exactly what they asked for." "I know," I say. "I'm still going." He doesn't argue. None of them do. We start down the stairs together, torchlight from the cell shrinking behind us until it's swallowed by the dark, and the deeper we go, the louder the hum in my chest gets, until it isn't just four heartbeats anymore. It's five. I stop dead on the stairs, one hand flying to my chest. "What is it?" Eryx is at my side instantly, hands hovering, not touching. "April, what's wrong?"

He had a kind smile and his eyes showed me a softness to him I had missed before that moment, “Beta’s could also be leaders of the pod when Alpha’s were not selected for the pod, otherwise beta’s were the trackers, responsible for knowing every aspect of their mate’s scent, taste, touch, appearance, emotions, and bond so that if they were ever lost or taken, they would be able to find her above anyone else. “ I felt overwhelmed. On one hand, I would never be lonely again, but on the other, I was going to have to not only get to know one mate but FOUR when I didn’t even know how to act around the opposite sex, let alone, keep four of them HAPPY! This was beginning to look like an impossibly d
