that I haven’t thought about myself. If this were really some W*****d kind of shit I’m in, then there must be something drastic to happen. However, when? What should I do? Yes, I’ve read fanfics about these kinds of stuff. But, I’m not them. I’m just an average human being. There’s nothing outstanding about me… If someone were to read this story, they’ll probably give up on the first few chapters. I mean, who wants to read a story about an introvert finally achieving her dream to escape reality and have something magical to her life?

Which of the hundred books would tell me what I needed to know? I pulled out a book that read ’trolls and termites’ It was basically a gag book about how werewolves viewed trolls, how they were dirty, nasty, and not very friendly. If you had ever come across one, chances were you wouldn't leave in a good mood. I placed it back on the shelf and continued walking around. I saw a book with a golden tail on the top shelf. I got up on my toes and reached for it but the tips of my fingers only scraped it.

"What book did you have in mind?" Emma's shoulders relax. "What kind of stories do you like?" "Whatever is fine." "Fantasy it is." Emma turns around to face me, three books in her hands, and drops to her knees. She's way too close for comfort but I don't comment on it. She lays the books out over my lap then taps the first one. "Trolls?" She taps the second one. "Mermaids?" Then taps the third one. "Or witches?" Her finger remains on the third book and she stares into my eyes.

After that I walked into the lecture hall about ten minutes late for classes. Instead of the calm I expected to see, the entire hall was louder than normal. The professor hadn't arrived yet. The girls were clustered in groups and whispering fast with soft giggles. Guys leaned over desks with their phones out, showing each other something. “Did you see him yet?” one girl asked her friend. “They say he’s from the UK." Her friend squealed a reply. "He's so hot. And I heard he wrote like three books on advanced dynamics.”

Silvia POV I recognize the smell instantly. In the old stories they talk about the effect of troll stink. In the pictures, entire armies are razed to the ground as a troll stands over them, grinning through teeth like haphazardly strewn gravestones.
