Trolls Holiday Characters Novels & Stories

It takes me a full two minutes before I understand what I’m seeing. As I watch, trolls begin pulling themselves from the walls of the cliffs. They stand, stretching is if they have been in the same position for too long. Rocks and boulders fall off their bodies, tumbling into the water beneath them. When they are done, there are ten trolls standing in the ravine and the gap has extended making it more of a gorge than a ravine. Shengis is hugging a troll that looks like a female. Another one coming up to him, embracing him. Haijen is also hugging what I think is a female troll.

They were not that big but they were rolling down like they were being thrown at them. They stopped and looked at these rocks. They rolled down until they got to them, one ran over Ambrosia’s foot making him hiss in pain. When they stopped suddenly, they popped heads and feet appeared. They were Trolls. “Apologies if we scared you, my king.” One of them said. “They were really not lying when they said you guys look ugly,” Ambrosia said making Luka laugh, and the Trolls glare at him. He was still angry about being run over by one of them.

“Anyway, what’s the plan? We wait and ambush it?” “Yeah, might. It’s only one, so it shouldn't be a problem.” Kim said. “Alright then, we better prepare. Trolls aren’t too strong, but we still have to be careful.” Paul instructed. “Yuki, you got backside. Kim and Herman, you two stay on guard. Me and Mel will set up a trap so it will be easier to take it down. Got that?” “Yup!” Kim immediately answered. They started preparing the ambush. Trolls are nocturnal creatures so it was right to have come at night while they were out. They could not possibly expect an ambush from inside their home. They were ready now, all that’s left was to wait for the troll to come.

I can’t be seeing right. “Honey,” Dad calls, but my ears have started ringing with the amount of blood that rushes to the organs. I don’t believe in the holidays, but please Santa, please! Tell me that Orison has started a career in pornography, because I can see him on a live field, having sex with someone who isn’t me.

I didn’t think he was going to let us cross willingly. “Who is it that wants to cross my bridge?” The troll said from underneath. “I will not allow it, find another way.” The troll huffed. “Ben, could you come from underneath your bridge? I have a favor to ask of you.” Brax looked over at me with a warm smile. The troll coughed and scrambled up the bank side to meet us. He was short with long ears. He is a hefty, little guy with a big nose and green leathery skin. His clothes were dirty and worn. I couldn’t tell if it was his teeth or tusks that curved up from his mouth.

From what I heard about trolls they turn to stone once the sunlight hits them so I have to hold him off for about five more minutes. The sparse tufts of sickly grey grass made the whole land look even gloomier. Yet, as in all things in life, nature found perfect tenants. Trolls. They were huge creatures with thick grey skin that you could easily mistake for a stone and with big shiny diamond shaped eyes. They looked scary, and yet there was some inexplicable beauty in them. But the trolls were not the only inhabitants of Canestor. Deep underground there were whole cities decorated with gold and jewels, cities of the dwarves.
