Trouble In Love

Trouble In Love

I nod, grab my gear, and we return to the hut to secure our supplies for tomorrow. # We get back to Sanctuary and tie the boat off, then I head into the changing rooms and have a quick shower. God, I’m so tired. I could fall asleep in here. I sigh and get out, dry off, get dressed, and head out into the staffroom to find everyone talking. “Hey, Trouble, did you want to come to my place for dinner?” Uku asks. “Thanks for the invite, but I’d probably fall asleep at the table.” He laughs. “How about a ride home, and I’ll grab us a pizza?” He offers.

REWRITE THE STARS

REWRITE THE STARS

You’re just an illusion…’ Ripping his hand away from Calleigh’s, Gabriel crashed the crystal goblet down so hard on the table that it cracked, exploding red wine all over the wood like blood. Three-year-old Raf cried out in shock. Lorenzo and Phoebe, who’d been cuddled at the other end of the table with intimate, private laughter, looked up with a gasp. “Uh… Sorry,” Gabriel muttered and stood up his feet. “I’m so sorry.” Staring at their faces, he backed away.

I say and lay it out for him. “You’re sure?” “Positive. I’m so sorry, Yorick.” “I need to go.” “Call me if you need to talk,” I say. “Thanks, Wen. I may take you up on that.” I stare at the phone for a moment, then turn back to my computer. Me: Let’s find that alliance agreement. Hacker: Follow me, my little Padawan. I chuckle at the Star Wars reference. Me: Show me the way, Obi-Wan.

The star that has to choose

The star that has to choose

Their minds rushed with questions. “Vanessa, you have been adopted by Mrs. Vanns.” Vanessa’s face lit up with excitement as she jumped up. “Wait, there’s one more. And then you two can go pack your stuff.” Vanessa sat back down, waiting for the other girl to be announced. “The next one is Maia! You’ve been adopted by a Mr. Sween.” Maia’s eyes lit up but then were replaced by fear. Who was Mr. Sween? Why did he want her? Does this mean she and Jasmine can’t be friends anymore? Maia started shaking with worry as she stood up and Jasmine gave her a big hug, confusing Maia. She had never been hugged before, but she liked it.

When Trouble Meets Mr. Perfect

When Trouble Meets Mr. Perfect

I won’t let go if someone tarnishes my reputation. I looked over the glass wall. The dark night had already spread all over the sky, but not a single star could be seen. If he pulls another stunt like this, I will make sure to make him disappear like the stars in the sky. I sighed and grabbed my car keys from the stand. * The home was dead silent. The servants must have gone to their quarters, and my mother… for the first time, I hoped she had left too. I climbed upstairs, ready to face my dragon wife. She doesn’t sleep till late; she would scroll through some stupid makeup videos or TikTok and then fall asleep with running reels that I would have to close down every night.

Troubled Heart

The least I could do was keep her out of this mess with Stacey. “It’s me.” I didn’t even greet Reese. “You don’t call from unknown numbers, Mak. What’s going on?” Reese’s voice instantly switched to concern as she recognized my voice. “I know. I ran into complications.” I explained in the most vague way possible. “Complications? Makayla,” she had said, her voice firm but shaken. “Are you hurt?” “I’m fine.” I tried to reassure her.

Bryant truly is such a gifted writer. This is another great story that is absolutely worth a read! Loved the characters/their personalities and the differences they brought to the table that balanced each other out beautifully. As always author - job well done! Cant wait for more from you :)

Great read. As always, Author Bryant keeps you on the edge of your seat. Just enough spice to be spicy but not too much. I love that everything Bryant puts in her books has a purpose. There isn’t a spicy scene just to have one. Everything builds for the storyline and characters. Another 5 star.

Princess In Trouble

Princess In Trouble

"I already dropped it. Come on! Don't be such a baby." He tiptoed away from the chair and sat quietly. "So, that means you can't shoot a gun", Marco asked. "I've never seen a gun in my life", he said. "Then how come he is joining us in this mission", George asked and dropped the gun he was holding. "He is driving the van", Aurora said and examined the bug. "Are you sure he can drive?" "Of course I can", Jazz said. "Can someone please tell me who this man is?"

he murmured against my mouth. I pulled away just enough to meet his eyes. “I’m not. Usually. But you’re confusing. I haven’t figured you out yet.” “What’s so complicated?” “Well, for starters—are you into slapstick comedies or Civil War dramas? Because those are polar opposites.” A smirk formed. “Both. I like both.” “And the strawberry Nesquik? Three quarts of it?” “I enjoy it.” “Clearly,” I muttered. “So does Blackie.” “You share that stuff with him?”

Her Troubled Bully

You feel drawn to this light without the light even trying but you can't touch the light because you're scared that you'd switch it off once you get close to it. So you do the only thing you think is good for the both of you, you hurt the light. You start hating it because no matter how many times you try to chase it away you're drawn to it. I felt something jab at my side harshly. I turned my glare from her to Severn the culprit. He smirked at me and shook his head. "What?" I asked him rudely, his smirk grew into an amused grin and he lifted his arms in surrender, " Sorry for bringing you back to Earth" he said I rolled my eyes at him and turned back to the board even though I wasn't listen
