Of Truths and Lottery

Of Truths and Lottery

After leaving the lottery shop, I went straight to a real estate office and bought a condominium. On the way to see the condominium, I saw a small figure. It was Sean. He had been digging through the trash. The moment he saw me, his face lit up, and he ran straight toward me. "Dad! Dad, take me with you. I don't want to take care of Mom anymore. The people who wanted the money took Mom's kidney. Now, she just lies in bed and can't do anything. I haven't eaten in days. Dad, please take me with you. I love you the best!"

When the Truth Was Born

When the Truth Was Born

Rebecca got stuck with the bills and a child to raise on her own. Patrick and Nancy, spoiled by years of luxury, whined for fancy foods every single day. While Rebecca slaved away at work, they could not be bothered to watch the kid, who ended up taking a fatal tumble from the balcony. That was the last straw for Rebecca. She lost it and torched the rental place with herself, Patrick, Nancy, and all their memories inside. Not even ashes were left. When the news hit me, my heart skipped a beat, then settled down just as fast. Maybe that was always where her road was headed.

The Boy In The Photo

The Boy In The Photo

“What mystery?” “I’ve got to thank you and Leah for leaving me alone in Math class cause I sucked at it and you both are too good.” He shook me again. “So, I was just moping at a corner, thinking shit about you guys, when this random guy came and sat next to me.” I rotated my wrist, signalling him to continue about his Math class. He gets into this kind of storytelling mood when he is excited about something. “Maybe I looked friendly? Or maybe I looked like a sad, lost puppy? This guy said Hi and started introducing himself. So, being a nice and friendly guy, and also trying to make friends cause I was all alone and couldn’t survive loneliness, I started introducing myself to him too.”

The Woman Who Stayed

The Woman Who Stayed

he said. "Because you're in it," she agreed. "And because the chapter is about something you did — choosing the complete truth when the partial one was still available. I needed you to know I wrote about that. That it's in the book now." He was quiet for a moment. "Is it honest?" he asked. "Everything in the book is honest," she said. "Is it fair?" She thought about this seriously. "It is as fair as honesty about difficult things can be," she said. "Which means it names what was done and what it cost. And it also names what was chosen when the alternative was available. Both things are in there. The full picture."

Bonnie McVicar Briggs
I really liked this book. Too bad it ends after 36 chapters and hasn't been added to in a couple of weeks. If y'all want people to pay to read your books, at least write something. This is the second book, this has happened with. I think I'm done with good novel.

My True One

My True One

The fights are verbal if physical l do not think l had a chance. I end up sleeping and for the very first time, l had a very peaceful sleep. No nightmares haunting me down. When you are exhausted your body rest to the fullest. Speaking of exhaustion. We had walked some streets Tanaka told me of those times when he was still in his teens. I feel bad for invading every tiny bit of him without disclosing anything of mine. What story could l tell? That l used to be rich and now l am enslaved at a strange place with assassins who the hell would believe in that? Who would be sane to buy it?

The Revolution Of The Demon God: Emperor's journey

Xun said with a smug smile. "Anyway, even I don't know how he found out. He never told me!" Xun said pouting. "Is everything written about him and the events true in this book?" He asked. "Although some events are over-exaggerated, this story is mostly true," Xun replied.

Her Story

he asked in an indifferent manner. I came in amazed by how huge actually this place was. There were books stacked on shelves, which were a few meters high, around five maybe. Books on several desks. Books piled everywhere on the floor. And more books near the fireplace. For all that was sacred sake, I would love to just spend the rest of my almost immortal life here. “Close your mouth or you’ll catch a fly.” He said clearly amused. ”Now, are you going to apologize or what?” “Why would I do that?” I instantly scoffed. Crossing my arms. I took a sit on the floor across from him.

TAMING THE BILLIONAIRE DAD

The bookshelf was just as tall as Andrew so he could easily access the books there. The bookshelf had all sorts of books, ranging from fictional novels to nonfictional novels, to educational novels and textbooks. Her eyes caught titles like; The Redwall series by Brian Jacques, Caddie Woodlawn by Carol Ryrie Brink, The House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros and a lot more. Even the Encyclopedia was in his bookshelf. And there was also some novels on the basis of business and finance. The book the lad was currently reading was The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie.
