Truth Be Told Mathew West Novels & Stories

"Now tell me what you want, Mathew." "Your life, I think we already know that." Mathew responded sharply, barely allowing me to finish. "Then why haven't you killed me yet? Or do you not have the guts to take my life anymore?" Mathew chuckled darkly, his lips curling into a sinister smirk. “Oh, Alex, if I wanted you dead, you wouldn’t be standing here right now.” He took a step closer, his voice dropping to a menacing whisper. “But killing you would be far too merciful considering what you and your father has put my family through—”

Mathew talked through gritted teeth and his eyes flashed in anger. “Those were my parents and you killed them in cold-blood, bastard! You murdered my parents and took everything which was rightfully ours. You remember Gabrielle's little boy who ran away and your men couldn't find him? That little boy is me!I have grown into a mature man.I will show you if you want to see it.”The man called Mathew removed a mask from his face and he looked so different from the mask that he was wearing earlier.

I constantly had the feeling that something was going to go wrong. “What are you thinking?” Beta Matthew asked as he sat on the other side of the bed. “Are you thinking of telling him the truth?” he asked, and a frown spread across my face. “What truth?” I feigned ignorance. “There is no truth to tell, Beta Matthew. The truth he needs to be told has already been said to him,” I murmured beneath my breath. There was no way I was letting him know that I'm his mate and the one who saved him in the woods. I saw no need in telling him.

she stated looking at me with a smile that's obviously fake, I frowned already knowing where this is leading too. "I don't even know your names how can I trust you that much" I spit out, I was talking to myself I realized they heard me when he said "my name is Mathew but you can call me mat just like all the others do" he stated his fake smile seemed to have been replaced by a genuine one.

“You can’t let her meet Western! If he knows she’s alive, he’ll kill me!” “Why would he kill you?” I asked coldly, my voice slicing through the tension. Matthew’s apple bobbed as he swallowed hard. Blood trickled from the corner of his mouth, but his fear outweighed the pain. “That night… I was supposed to kill her and return her body. Just like I returned her twin’s body.” He paused, his gaze darting nervously to Bella. “But I couldn’t find her. So I lied. I told Western I killed her, dumped her body in the ocean.”

"Talking too much has helped some people get out of cruel situations. It is a skill that can be of great importance at an appointed time." "I see," Matthew said, standing up. "Let me get some water. I will be back." Blackwheel watched as Matthew left the table and disappeared into the dark corridor. "What is your name, sir?" Matthew's girlfriend asked as soon as she had the opportunity to communicate with Blackwheel freely. "They call me James Blackwheel," Blackwheel said. "It isn't really a fancy name but it has granted me passage to speak with wise men." "That is impressive," Matthew's girlfriend smiled. "I know little about you and before your arrival, I pleaded with Matthew to tell me al

When Lilith Sterling showed up, I realized the years I'd spent being coddled by my three childhood friends had been nothing but a lie. My Alpha King father, though, still had no idea. He honestly believed I'd end up choosing one of the three. That's why, at the Pack gathering, he announced in front of everyone: "Aurora, whoever you want to bond with—your father will make it happen." Every pair of eyes turned to the three boys who'd once loved and protected me—Kael Blackwood, Orion Whitethorn, and Zephyr Stormrider. We were perfectly matched in status, had grown up together, shared years of deep affection. But when my father threw out that hint, the three of them acted like they hadn't heard

John tries explaining himself but was out voiced by Alice once more. “I stood there before my parent’s graves a broken child! I may have been three at the time, but I understood everything when you told me my parents were gone. I may have cried that day, but I suffered silently all those years with grief and anger because someone you trusted most took the most precious thing from me. You and Aunt Bethany may have taken me in after the incident, but deep inside I grew up an orphan! But the fact that you kept the truth from me this whole time, hurts me more. How can I ever trust you again?”

I had finally lost it. "Stop what?” Mathew asked with a smile. He was leaning forward now. His face was very close to mine. "Stop telling you the truth? Stop telling you what a failure you are for liking men? Stop telling you that you are corrupting my son with your filthy lifestyle?" I stood up, I didn't understand why I had put up with his BS for so long but I decided it was enough and just like my father, I will deal with him.

"Too much stress is bad for you right now." Silius hesitated, then nodded. "Okay." "Thank you," he added softly, "for helping them get away." "I only did it for you," Mathew said, and there was no performance in it this time just plain, quiet honesty, the kind he rarely allowed himself to speak aloud. Silius smiled, small and knowing. "I know." ---
