My moonfire surged in response, flaring brighter than ever.
“We’re leaving,” I whispered.
The goddess shrieked.

the last desperate cage she had left.
Ares roared, gold erupting into a massive shield.
I lifted both hands, moonfire wrapping around the gold.
Clara slashed forward with lightning spears.
