Hello to my readers! This chapter is the last chapter for LOGAN and just to warn you it's a bit longer and I don't want to split it in half because this is an epilogue. It had been a week since the incident with Heather, and I was ready to return to school, acting as if nothing had happened. The next day I treated it like any other ordinary day.

I summoned my wings, and red wings flapped on my back as my body rose in the air and out of the hell of fire. Lucien’s eyes widened at the sight of me as he staggered backward and sat up. He built a barrier between him and me, but I watched as he inched backward on his ass as I slowly walked toward him. My hands were raised with my palms up, and fire emitted from them, but in between them, shards of big thorn-like spikes were dancing around.

I watched those creating a brightness in this dark beautiful spot. “That’s because of me,” He whispered, showing his palm on me. “The fire was celebrating my first shift and that was why the fireflies were flying around.” “Wow! It’s wonderful! I’m so proud of you, King Fire!” I was jumping and jumping and moving towards him. I was curious why he was wincing as if he did not want my present. “Can you move away?” It was not a command, it was a question or request I guessed?

He could feel the sweat beading on his forehead as he drew close, the sting of the saltwater in his eyes as the droplets caught in his eyelashes on their passage down to his cheeks. “There is no pain,” she was as shocked by the development as he was. “The flames do not burn me.” He reached out carefully but could not touch the flames. They burnt as hot as dragon flame. “They do not burn me, but I can feel their heat,” he told her. “Flaming wings… That was… not what I expected.” “Me either,” she looked at him wild-eyed. “Do you suppose that I could…” “Yes,” he followed her gaze when she looked skywards. “Do it, Ember.”

Dominic is back on his feet watching with the most shocked expression on his face but then I feel my back start splitting in half and I scream again the pain the agony of my body being ripped in half is slowly breaking me. I feel myself become woozy from the blood loss and my eyes are burning, I feel the wetness dripping down my face and realise my nose is bleeding. With one final agonizing yell I feel my body lift off the ground still engulfed in flames but something comes shooting out from my shoulder blades and I feel my body become heavy, the blinding light in my eyes starts to fade and as I turn my head to see what exactly is weighing me I have to do a double take. Tears filled her eyes as she whispered against his chest, “Then burn it down. Burn the book. Please.” But when he reached for the pages, the blood hissed back like flames resisting him. The book laughed—a sharp, broken sound akin to paper tearing apart: “You can’t burn her story, fox; you can only read it…and reading means obeying.” Camela’s scream caught in her throat as she muttered, “It spoke…” Vincent bared his teeth in defiance as his fire flared even higher. “Then I’ll silence it,” he said fiercely. He slammed his hand down, his fire blazing but the pages didn’t burn. Instead, they bled harder and thicker, flooding the floor until it reached their ankles.

Flavius wades through the crowd of dragons until he comes upon a SpitFire much smaller than the rest. Her scales are a brilliant lilac compared to the deep violet of the other SpitFires. She slowly approaches Flavius sniffing his outstretched hand. Flavius uncurls his fingers, reaching for her head. In one swift movement, her jaws snap down on Flavius's hand. He lets out a yelp of surprise but does not try to pull his hand away. Blood drips from the mouth of the small SpitFire. She makes no move to rip Flavius's arm off, which is a good sign.

A little girl with blue wings is sleeping soundly in her nest. "Please, can someone hear me?" Hana said politely. But only her voice echoed; no one answered her. More and more time passed, but the girl was still asleep. Hana's expression was a little rushed, if not quickly, afraid that she wouldn't be able to lose it in time. Worn burst into flames in Hana's arms, and from the aperture outside, Worn quickly flew inside, burning the entire girl's bedroom. Hana waited nervously outside but didn't see anyone show up after a while. Hana looked inside the hollow, and despite the phoenix fire slowly spreading to her place, the girl kept her eyes closed. The fire around Dracula flickers, and she reaches for it as it dies and she screams as Callie forces a shift. Kai and Ash are shoved from Eliza’s mind and they focus on the man who was now starting to dash for Noemi. Their t-shirts shred into tatters as they shift out their wings and fly for him, tackling him to the ground before he can hurt Noemi more. Eliza, or Callie, flies off over the trees, screeching and burning the ground beneath her as she goes. Screams start coming from the forest as she burns the vampires who had been coming for them.
