Blushing furiously, I tugged at the soaked fabric, unfastening it with unsteady fingers until I could ease it away from her shoulders. My eyes darted away, respectful despite my desperation, but the urgency of her condition forced me to focus. Her blouse slipped free, leaving her in the thin underclothes beneath, now plastered against her skin by the water. And there it was again: the two red marks. Faint but undeniable.
