All the delegates from 20 Academies joined together for this once-a-year Annual Teachers' Conference and they were all fortunate and privileged to be part of this big event. Being the chosen teachers of each Academy, the school selected the most qualified delegates who will represent their Academy and be recognized in this big event. There were 5 chosen teachers from St. Mary's Academy in Batangas, and Teacher Maria was one of those.

They’ve already drawn lots to decide which team they would belong to. They ended the classes early to give time for everyone to have a meeting with their teams. The students and teachers were divided into four teams. The Filipino Language Teacher Marissa Tupas and English Language Teacher Evelyn Vargas headed the Dominators Team. The Computer Teacher Seth Acosta and Home Economics Teacher Edita Corpuz headed the Legends Team. Religion and History Teacher Cyrus Montecillo and Mathematics Teacher Marcelo Reyes headed the Gladiators Team. Lastly, Music, Arts and Physical Education Teacher Susana Cervantes and Science Teacher Mike Olarte headed the Cavalry Team.
