I am part of the market research team, and that requires me to be on the streets instead of in-office, but with my team being useless, I do most of the work because if the team doesn't deliver results, I am stuck with the elephant that will likely cost me, my job. Lucifer's tech is the best engineering company there is. Their smartphones are ten times better than Android and iPhones. Longer battery life and a network that won't drop you in your time of need but the worst part about them are that they freaking expensive. Like wireless earphones and smartwatches, they most likely to cost half my paycheck.

Lucy was the one who smiled. “I watch the vampire novella’s from it. They are so good. Cheesy but goddess do they make me cry.” Lucy chuckled and Felix pulled her in, crushing her against him to quiet her.

Even if it’s not what I really had in mind but this too is acceptable. What do I think of Lucifer? Hmmmm…. That guy. He really is the star of this show but it’s precisely because of him that I am going on with life in this manner. Some have already seen me as the late Lucifer but I don’t really know if I really am his reincarnate. Honestly though it’s a shock when I heard that the first time but later on when I keep hearing his tales and rumors, I’m not that disappointed if I really was his reincarnate. He does sound like a decent guy after all. But rumors aside he really was the most mysterious and twisted man. But what is going to happen to me now that I am a demon? I don’t have a clue…

He placed my phone on the bed before he walked out of the room. My phone beeped with a new notification. [Baby!, sex date my place by eighth?!.]

he mutters the last part with an impetuous grin. My brows knitted in confusion. Liar. A muscle in Lucifer’s jaw twitched as he glared at Greg whose face was glistened in beads of sweat. "Your apology means nothing to me, Greg. You said with confidence that she will be on her best behavior and presentable. Now I am here standing in front of a woman who looked like she just lost a catfight and from what I am seeing Greg. She is far from looking presentable." Lucifer remarked, taking a threatening step closer to Uncle Greg who stiffened beside me. "Please tell me. Is this your way of embarrassing me? Disrespecting me." he questions. Greg shakes his head, letting out a nervous chuckle.

When he spoke, his voice was calm, carrying a chilling authority that silenced the entire room. "Good evening, everyone" Lucian began, adjusting the microphone. "I am here tonight to address the leaked footage involving myself and my ex wife, Clarissa. I know the media has already tried, and sentenced her in the court of public opinion. But you only have half the story" My jaws clenched and my knuckles turned white from the amount of force I had clenched my fist. I had no idea what Lucian was doing. Was he demanding my arrest? With my eyes glued to the screen, I watched intensively. Every movement he made I saw.

His fingers wrapped around the handle, and he eased it open, careful not to let it creak. Once he slipped outside, he closed it gently until the latch clicked without a sound. A small grin appeared on his face. Mission success. Lucien padded toward the couch in the outer suite and flopped down, letting out a small breath of victory. He picked up the remote, switched on the plasma TV, and scrolled until he found his anime. As the episode started, Lucien’s eyes lit up. He pulled his knees up to his chest, wrapped his arms around them, and began to watch, chuckling silently at the funny moments.

"Tired from work or from--" I covered his mouth again while glaring. This man is really hard to talk to. "There's no point in telling them that we had sex. It's just fine because we're strangers when we do it and we're gonna officially become a family in the future." I lied, I said the opposite of my heart. He let go of my hands and locked them behind my body. "Really? Why are you breaking out in cold sweat like you're nervous?" "I'm just--" "Luke, bring Lucy here. You have to be nice to her since she's going to be your sister."

★★ FLASHBACK ★ 6 years ago★★★ Lucifer sat alone in his room, the darkness of the night mirroring the turmoil in his mind. He couldn’t understand what had driven April to leave, to abandon him without a word. His thoughts were a chaotic mess of anger, confusion, and a strange sense of loss that he couldn’t shake. The door creaked open, and Nurse Clara stepped in, her expression hesitant as she approached him. “Lucifer,” she began cautiously, “there’s something you need to know.”

She looked behind Lucifer and saw Reed standing behind him with an evil smirk on his face as he twisted the knife even more and it came out from Lucifer's chest. “ Stop it.... you're killing him ” Skyler said as tears dropped from her eyes. “ I'm going to kill you both ” Reed said. “ My love stop crying ” Lucifer said. “ But you're hurt ” Skyler sniffed as her tears blinded her sight. Lucifer knew that she wouldn't stop crying so he touched her forehead and she passed out in his arms. He then broke the chains off her hands and legs even with the knife still stucked in his back.
