The Dragon's Silent Shadow
Tristan stumbled into the room, leaning his full weight on Saoirse.
"By the Gods!" Tristan bellowed, shielding his eyes from the chandelier light. "Why is everyone shouting? My head feels like a drum at a goblin wedding."
The room went silent. All eyes turned to the Third Prince.
"You," Liam snarled. He marched toward Tristan, his hand on the hilt of his sword. "While the city burns, the leech crawls out of bed."
"Technically," Tristan slurred, waving a hand vaguely, "I haven't been to bed. Not to sleep, anyway." He winked lewdly at Saoirse, who shrank back, playing the part perfectly.
