“You know that –” “Know that what!?” came a woman’s shriek. They all turned to see a woman marching towards them from down the hallway. She, too, was dressed in all black, with long, flowing red hair that trailed past her shoulders, and large, shiny green eyes. She was tall, ageless, and strikingly beautiful. Caitlin felt humbled in her presence, like she had just shrunk. This was a woman. Or was it…vampire? Whatever she was, she was a creature that Caitlin could never compete with. She felt deflated, prepared to concede Caleb to whoever she was.

She was still flipping through the new books she had acquired when she was slightly surprised to hear the soft but sure voices of people filtering into her ears from below her window. It was nighttime, and it was obviously her quarters, somewhere only a small number of people were allowed to roam. Elowen’s POV – Twilight Whispers That evening, as the last vestiges of daylight faded into the soft embrace of twilight, the academy’s grounds transformed into a quiet sanctuary. I found myself wandering along a secluded stone path leading to a hidden courtyard, a place that had once been filled with echoes of our past conflicts and now promised a fragile new beginning. The gentle hum of evening stirred in the air—a murmur of crickets, the soft rustle of leaves—and all around, the academy seemed to exhale, releasing the weight of the day.

Twilight stopped giving out orders to the clones. The clones went into a frenzy and could not tell between friend and foe; they began to attack Twilight. One of them bit Twilight's hand while another bit her neck. Within seconds, she collapsed on the ground. The rest of the clones pounced on her. It was a brutal scene to watch. Everything happened too fast. Before anyone could react, Twilight was lying motionlessly in a puddle of blood. Larissa covered Vincent's eyes and turned her gaze away. The crazed clones continued to attack even after murdering Twilight.

She saw something black which looks like a book and it gave her the description of the sacred book the priest talked about which she had pictured from the mind of the other priest. “I see that you’ve stolen the so-called sacred book. What is it about this sacred book exactly?” Caitlin asked, looking curious.
