“If Agnes caught his attention… I’d be father to a Queen.” Bella staggered backward, her chest tight, memories flashing—hands in moonlit woods, teeth at her neck, a voice promising ruin for anyone who touched her. Would he recognize her? Would she recognize herself if he did? Lost in her thoughts, Bella didn’t notice Alpha Griffin exiting the room until he brushed past her. He paused, his gaze flicking over her face with brief suspicion. Then he turned away. Bella exhaled shakily and retreated down the corridor. She barely made it three steps before pain exploded across her scalp.

“Maa did you have a nightmare again?” Bella fetched a cup of warm milk for her obediently when she awakened after handing it to her, she asked “maa do you want me to tell you a story? She kissed her bely and said hey babies don’t trouble my mommy ok.. be good like me….” She was so clever and understanding that it made Maya feel guilty and her heart ached. She caressed Bella’s face and kissed her cheeks and said “hmmm..why don’t I tell you a story instead? What would you like to hear?”

Bella’s POV In a few minutes, it would be midnight and my heart stopped beating. The noise of the crowd around me was nothing compared to the chaos in my head. I was going to turn twenty-one and it meant I could finally be my own wolf. I could finally stop being a shadow of my sister, Talia. “Can you feel the air change, Bella?” Like a curse, I snapped out of my trance and I heard her high-pitched voice right in front of me –Talia McKenzie, my twin sister. She had her arms spread out and her eyes locked on mine as she dared me to give her a reply.

She had built an entire fantasy around those two seconds. "Choose me," she continued, her voice dropping to a whisper. Her manicured fingers reached out, her fingers brushing my chest. "Make me sure, Alpha… I can make you feel good than my boring sister.” My beast roared. Not with desire. With fury. *She dares? She dares touch us after what she did to her?* "Remove your hand," I said quietly. "Now." But Bella was too far gone in her own fantasy. She did not hear the danger. She only saw what she wanted to see. A powerful man. A conquest. A prize she could steal from her sister like she had stolen everything else.

Just as we pulled apart, Bella walked in with two masked guards trailing behind her. “Oh,” she said flatly, looking at the body. “Looks like someone got creative.” “You should’ve seen the first draft,” I said with a wink. She rolled her eyes. “Any requests for disposal?”

BELLA "Why would you poison me?" My voice cracked, trembling as the weight of her betrayal pressed on my chest. Hot tears slid down my cheeks, unrelenting. Elowen stood before me, her own tears shimmering in her eyes. She reached out but hesitated mid-air, as though afraid her touch might shatter me completely. "I’m sorry, Bella. I didn’t mean to... I never planned to... I was forced."

Theron's POV The day of the event was finally here. This is the day I officially put Twilight on the map. Another success to celebrate. Many of my past lovers have been calling nonstop to accompany me to the event but I turned them all down. I don't want any drama tonight so I decided to just go alone.

"Bella..." My arm stretched out hopelessly, as if I could somehow reach her, protect her from the monster looming over her. I felt a wave of despair wash over me, knowing I was powerless to save her. My vision began to tunnel, and I knew I was running out of time. With a Herculean effort, I tried to speak again, my voice cracking with desperation. "Run...Bella...run..." Bella's POV I was frozen in terror, my feet rooted to the spot as the vampire approached me. His golden pupils glowed like embers, illuminating the dark iris of his eyes. I felt small and insignificant in his powerful aura, like a tiny mouse caught in the gaze of a hungry hawk.

Bella closed her eyes and a gust of wind surrounded her forming a tornado, she was about to attack Denise and knock her out when she got hit by three arrow to the chest, she crashed in Alpha Coast arms as he watched in horror the arrows in her chest, Fuck saving Denise, he swore to kill her for harming his mate but Bella held him, he looked down at her and she shaked her head. "Don't hurt her" she pleaded, Bella got back on her feet with the arrows still in her chest, she created the tornado again and sucked Denise into it causing a distraction for them to leave. Alpha Coast carried her out while dragging Lucian out of the room too. The screams of Denise could be heard as she kept swirling a
