The Miracle Luna
“Would it kill you to wear some clothes?”
I smirked and shifted into my wolf form, ignoring her complaints. Beside me, Austin and the others shifted too, their fur bristling with anticipation.
“Priscilla,” I mind-linked to her. “Hop on. I need your help with something.”
She froze like a deer caught in headlights, eyeing me—this massive beast of a wolf, easily three times her size.
She hesitated once.
Twice.
Then a third time, chewing her lip.
Finally, slowly, she stepped forward, her movements cautious and unsure. I lowered myself to the ground to make it easier for her. She swung a leg over me, settling awkwardly on my back, her hands trembling as they hovered above my fur.
