While twirling the glass in his hand, he looked at Jacob. Jacob’s hand stopped for a moment, but he sipped his drink and kept the glass on the table. “The tattoo on your arm,” Caleb exclaimed, pointing towards the small tattoo of a scorpion on Jacob’s forearm. Jacob had folded his sleeves up to his elbows. He eyed the tattoo and looked towards both of them, specifically towards Cassian. “Cassian Holt, or better to say ‘King of Shadows,’ never fails to impress anyone,” Jacob replied in a calm tone.

Jacob declared, causing Lyra to gasp and sit up sharply in bed. "Twins! Jacob, you’re having twins! Wow, I’m truly happy for you,” she exclaimed, her excitement palpable. However, Jacob fell into silence, and she could sense that something was troubling him. "What's wrong?" she pressed gently. "It's a high-risk pregnancy, Lyra. She’s half Lycan and half human, and as an Alpha, I can’t help but worry—especially since they’re twins,” he admitted, his voice tinged with concern.

Without further delay, he grabbed her and flapped his wings as he launched into the air. They trailed behind Michael and Sydney. As Sydney ran, they watched him. They were amazed by his speed. "Do you think Sydney is a werewolf?" Elsa asked. "I know he's a werewolf." Jacob replied. "Are you sure?" "I'm part werewolf. I can smell him. He is a werewolf. Do you think he's something else? " Jacob asked. "No... just curious." Elsa answered. When Jacob saw them stop, he dived towards the ground and, unable to stop his wings immediately, he crashed into the ground with Elsa.

Theron's POV The day of the event was finally here. This is the day I officially put Twilight on the map. Another success to celebrate. Many of my past lovers have been calling nonstop to accompany me to the event but I turned them all down. I don't want any drama tonight so I decided to just go alone.

I trailed off. She was looking at me curiously, “but what?’ “But like he was keeping his cool. They didn’t seem like friends or close, at all. I was just wondering who he could be because I don’t want to cause any trouble,” I laughed anxiously. “Oh no dear, you won’t cause any trouble don’t worry. Um Jacob,” she licked her lips, “Jacob Campbell is the only son of Alpha Christophe Campbell of the Shadow Walkers pack,” she went slow and muttered each word clearly for me to understand.

I said. "Why does he want Jacob?" Dad asked. "Papa, do you know Jacob?" I asked. "Because he thinks we, the two lycans, will kill all the bitten werewolves, and one of them is him. One of them is him. There is a belief that the twin lycans will be easier to kill when the dark moon comes. And he knows about that." "The dark moon is close," I said. "Wait, do you have a twin?" "As long as you don't leave this place. If they missed Minerva, something else might have happened to her. If you leave, she'll use Minerva against you. The next day is the dark moon, so Iago will hurry to find Jacob." Dad said.

I need to stay lowkey until such time I have my power back. “Hello, Tahlia.” Jacob gave me a polite smile. Then he turned to look back on the man in front of him. “Didn’t know you accept disciples. Can I apply as one?” Helion hissed. They enjoy jokes, is it because they have grown familiar with each other? Are they close friends now? My eyes narrowed at the thought. “Come join us, Tahlia,” Jacob’s invitation. “I’m Jaxon, the second beta and the lord of east manor,” Jacob introduced himself to me.

He then dropped his head back down to read the book that was in front of him, not even bothering to look at the person who came inside. It was Jacob looking sullen than ever, as he walked inside and sat down on the table next to Logan’s that belonged to the beta of the pack. “ You seem to be annoyed,” Logan said as he continued to read his book turning page after another. “ And you know a lot for someone who cannot even bother to look at your beta,” snapped Jacob as he turned to look at Logan who was reading a book on dark witchers and wizardry. His brows furrowed as he asked, “ Don’t tell me that you are trying to learn magic now and that too dark magic who are you trying to curse now?”

When his hand wanders under my shirt, I pull away to stop him and say, “Someone will see us… “ “It’s too dark.” He says, then kisses me again. This time I let go. Jacob has magic in his hands. His hand makes its way up my waist and my whimpers turn louder. He breaks our kiss and whispers, grinning, “Be quiet. Someone will report us for indecency… “ “Then stop it!” I exclaim breathlessly. “Ohh... I think I am only getting started..” He grins and slides his hand inside my trousers while biting my earlobes. I gasp and try to resist. But soon I give in and arch my back.

My school is neutral grounds, a place where werewolf packs can't chop each other's heads off and where other monsters can relax. Jacob belongs to the second category. He is a vampire, and I feel sorry for him. The guy is tall and skinny, stuck forever in that funny state when his body was supposed to go through puberty. His enormous nose doesn't suit his face, and his clown shoes make him quite comical-looking. "Thank you, Jacob." I smile despite not trusting the guy. Jacob studies me too often for me not to find him suspicious. "So I've been thinking..." Jacob hesitates, closing his eyes briefly. He seems to chant some inner prayer before continuing. "We live rather close and-... I mean-...
