He says as he pulls a package out of his bag and hands it to me. "Oh, what is it?" I remove the cloth that covers the package, it is a very old book with a blood red cover and despite the years is still in good condition. I caress the cover of the book, on it we can read the pack of the twilight. "This is a very old book, the family tree of our pack. " I opened the book, my fingers shaking. I had been wanting to know everything about this community that piques my curiosity for so long, I couldn't believe it.

Theron's POV The day of the event was finally here. This is the day I officially put Twilight on the map. Another success to celebrate. Many of my past lovers have been calling nonstop to accompany me to the event but I turned them all down. I don't want any drama tonight so I decided to just go alone.

A flash of pink caught his eye and he glanced over to see a petite girl with a messy, pink bun walk across the street, a soft cream shawl curled around her neck. He almost looked away before his eyes locked on a tiny accessory that caused him to take a long, laboured breath: a Dream Acorn.

It even looked like there was some silvery shimmer in the midnight blue areas that made it look like stars. After staring at my hair for another few minutes, I sat down at the table with the others, and us kids started talking about my party and Jackie’s 18th birthday that was coming up in 3 weeks. Jackie said she wanted a ‘Pretty in Pink’ themed birthday and we all started laughing. “I swear Jackie, you and ‘the everything has to be pink’ phase you’re going through. I hope your dragon has pink, like your favorite color, at least some of it, that is.” I said. Jackie laughed and said, “I hope so too, pale pink is already in my hair, but that might just be because my Fae side is a pink hue.” W

Claire set her mug down and looked him dead in the eyes. “It was my graduation gift from Leader Xavier.” The grief in her eyes grew as she continued. “Pops, Steph and I each have one. Time passes, and my sobs fade into sniffles as I take jagged breaths, each one feeling like shards of ice in my lungs. I lean my head back and stare up at the dark canopy, drowning in despair, when something flickers in front of my eyes. I wipe the remaining tears away and try to focus, only to find a tiny, pink glowing orb dancing in front of my face like a firefly, except fireflies don’t give off a pink light. I try to swat away the little orb, but it dodges my hand as if it’s sentient. It moves closer to my face, then moves back and forth as if beckoning me…
