"Balor Bloodstone," It was hard to see Garren's features within the shadows, despite the light from the moon and my fae eyesight, but I could see amusement in his eyes before he blinked it away.
"What did he want you to steal from me?"
"A stone,"
"A stone," He repeated, and I nodded.
"Not the whole thing, just a sliver would do." He let out a low hum. Like he was thinking it over.
"There is only one stone I keep in the library that would even be worth stealing. Why did he want you to take it?"
