Without warning, Abhi twisted the wrench. The sickening crack of bone filled the room as Dev let out a bloodcurdling scream.
"Shh," Abhi said, placing a finger to his lips. "The story's just getting to the good part."
He lined up the wrench with the next finger, his expression calm, almost serene as if he were discussing the weather.
"Now, where was I?" Abhi began, his tone calm, almost conversational as if he wasn't standing over a man with a broken, misshapen hand.
