However, I had sent him out to buy ingredients for dinner. "Found her!" The cabinet door flew open, and a vicious man yanked me out roughly before kicking me to the ground. In my panic, I screamed for Raven in my mind. The next second, an eerie wind arose. The moonlight outside was suddenly blocked by massive black wings. Raven hovered in midair, revealing his true form—sharp black horns, enormous wings, and flames from hell flickering everywhere. Under the night sky, he slowly opened his eyes. His pitch-black vertical pupils overflowed with murderous intent.

It was almost midnight when Emily pushed open the door of Black Raven Bar. The neon lights flickered over her curves wrapped tightly in a black silk dress that clung to her like sin. Her hair, a dark waterfall, fell over her shoulders, teasing the valley of her cleavage with each sway of her hips. She didn’t care who stared at her tonight; in fact, she wanted their eyes. She needed to feel wanted again.

And then, something even more terrifying happened. The pendant began to glow. The once faint silver glow turned bright, emitting a shimmering blue light that broke the darkness. The black-robed figure stopped his steps. It hissed, its hoarse voice like a dry twig breaking.

I ask while kneeling down in front of her feeling how uneasy she feels hearing her parents yelling for her. I can’t help blushing a little when I stare into her obsidian eyes noticing her looking me over trying to understand what she is feeling. “I don’t know,” she whimpers at Rebecca screaming for her so I nod and scoop her up into my arms. “It’s ok come on,” I reassure while carrying her towards the barn door to find her identical twin opening the door. They are very much the same except, their hair, eyes, and abilities. Raven’s hair and eyes are pitch black and her aura was that of an extraordinarily powerful Lycan Alpha.
