Tyler raised an eyebrow. “Losing on the ice.”
“Lame,” I scoffed. “Mine is running out of snacks during a movie marathon.”
A small, genuine smirk broke across his usually stoic face.
“What’s your body count?” I asked, keeping my face completely innocent.
Tyler instantly choked on his own breath, his eyes widening in pure shock. “That’s... that is not something they are going to ask you.”
“Hey, you never know,” I said, a massive, triumphant grin breaking across my face as I watched him squirm. “Better safe than sorry, Captain.”
