I sighed. I turned to the first story and started reading. I read story after story. Some were interesting, some were familiar, some were bizarre. Then, more than halfway through the book, I found it. The very first line read, "There once was a young girl. Her wolf had no name." It was titled, 'Child of Stars', kind of fitting since my Dad's wolf is Starfire. My wolf chimed in with her usual pessimism, 'It won't help.'

Just when he lied down again, Tan emerged from behind the silk draperies, staring intently at Alex who released another girlish skriek, pulling his knees over his chest and shielding himself with a pillow. "What the fuck is that!?" "A tiger." "Why is there a fucking tiger in my fucking room!?" "Could you stop with the F word?" "Is this place haunted?!" "Yes, and you are the ghost." "WHAT?" Alex kept screaming as if he just realized he was dead. I walked forward until I was standing in front of Tan, scratching his large furry head who was standing beside Alex's bed, trying to get a sniff of Alex. Alex only squirmed far away, trying to shoo Tan away with a pillow.

The noise of war was disturbing but I didn't think much of it, I just wanted to see Tasha. As I kept walking in the direction of her footprint, the woods got creeping, and the sounds of Vampires were getting loud. “Mummy I'm scared,” Trina cried and I had to hold her mouth to keep her quiet. “I warned you, if anything happens to her, you would never forgive yourself,” Moxilla sneered. She was right but this wasn't the time to start, pointing blame at each other, besides all I had done since the last four years of my life in Trinity pack had disgusted Moxilla.
