Two Halves Of A Whole Novels & Stories

I wanted to speak and scream, asking what was happening, but I realized I couldn't, my whole body just submitted to his order. I watched him fill up the glass, and gulped all into his mouth. Silence filled the entire room for a moment until he spoke up. ''I believe you've gotten your wolf, and she has told you we are mate.'' He muttered nonchalantly. ''So you knew?'' I asked stunned and got an angry scoff from him. ''How is this possible, We are half siblings, this can't be possible.'' I spoke in panic while holding his gaze, but rather he scoffed and stood to his feet while I did the same.

My daughter, Lily, was hit and dragged for two whole miles by a drunk driver. I rushed her blood-drenched body into the emergency room. While the doctors saved her, I collapsed onto the floor in the hallway. With the last ounce of strength left in my body, I sent a text to my husband, Howard. [Lily is in critical condition. Get to the hospital now!] A few seconds later, my phone chimed with a reply. [Stay safe. I’ll be over as soon as I wrap things up here.]

She said and turned towards the door. "Wait" Kelvin stopped her. She faced him again. He thought to himself that he would just agree and when he would have gotten his inheritance, he would ditch her since there was no written agreement made between them. "I agree to it. I'll give you half of my inheritance" he said.

Even if only half, I am a predator. Looking upwards at my apartment, I'm glad I have plans tonight. If I were inside all night, I could see myself drinking too much. That more than instant healing might be what saves me. The keys fumble, mimicking arthritis. I drop them again and again. Finally, I grasp them hard. It takes forever to get the door open.

“What do you mean you can’t?” His voice lowered. “It is no longer a tear in reality.” A pause. “It is a sealed domain.” Luca shifted in her arms slightly. “Luke is there,” he said quietly. Lily tightened her grip instantly. “I know,” she whispered. God continued. “And so is the other half of him.” Lily looked up sharply. “The other half?” God’s expression darkened slightly. “The version of Luca that crossed over is no longer incomplete,” he said. “It is being… reinforced.”

“You’re kind of awesome, you know.” “Don’t let that get around,” I tease. “I’ve got a reputation for being only half-tame.” We both laugh, and Tyler barks like he’s seconding the motion. The bass hums through the walls behind us, but out here, it feels like everything’s slowing down just enough to remember it.

Usually he would have cut it in half, but wanted her to have the whole and not the half. “ the whole and not the half, my sweet girl.” he said, and raised the apple to her mouth. She held his gaze for a moment and reached for the apple. “ the whole and not the half.” he repeated, “ that’s what i want with Aine. that’s all i want with Aine.” he heaved out a breath and thought for a moment about his encounter with Rhoda that afternoon. What had she said, About not making any promises?

The Alpha asked. "I'm afraid the bond between him and his other half is severed, it's as if he lost his other half!!!" Abhi answered his soulless eyes solemn "What do you mean Abhi??" The Luna who has been quiet all along asked "I'm afraid he won't be able to transform!!"

The connection between the subject’s magic and soul seems to deepen with further care. Day 2 The subject appears to have a stronger connection to their magic half than to their wolf half. It seems one cannot possess both—attempting to force both has disastrous consequences. We’ve heard rumors of a rare being—half human, half wolf. We are focusing our efforts on finding this anomaly.

“So what? I’m supposed to just… pretend I’m not mad? Pretend I’m fine? Pretend every messes up thing going on around me is fine?” “No,” Kyle said, his gaze shifting toward the crescent moon. “You see that?” He pointed at the glowing sliver above them. “That’s you right now. New and recent. But at the same time half-lit, half-shadowed. We werewolves are like the moon, we carry a long with us its madness. But more importantly, we're to carry two halves inside us, just like the half-moon. The lit side is the madness, the calm side shadowed. Human and wolf.
