Novel & Cerita Two Voices Arguing In My Head

I feel a faint smile forming on my lips, I know I am happy. Someone is arguing. I tried opening my eyes to see what is happening but there's no use. I feel like I am having sleep paralysis but I can't do anything, nor can see anything. The voices are fighting over something but they are trying to keep their voices down. I focus on the voices to get a hint of what they are talking about. "Can you please stop meddling? I will never leave her again, not anymore." The voice was deep and I know that accent. Is that Adam? Who is he talking to?

Right now, I need to focus on calming down and figuring out what to do about Angie and I know just what to do. ******************* I took a deep breath and closed my eyes, trying to block out the cacophony of voices in my head. They were constantly chattering, arguing, and whispering, but today, I needed to have a serious talk with them. "Listen," I said, addressing the voices in my head. "I need to talk to you about something important." The voices fell silent, and I could sense their anticipation.

On his way, he heard the voice of a man who appears to be in the middle of an argument. "You useless system! Where did you bring me this time?!!!" "What?!!!! Are you serious?????! Shame on you! Why do I have to be stuck to a useless system just like you?!!!" Nero was not planning to eavesdrop on the conversation, but his curiosity took the better of him. Especially since he can only hear one voice. The man sounded as if he was arguing with someone, but for some reason, Nero cannot hear other voices aside from the speaking man before.

You need to stand up for yourself. I nearly jump out of my seat as the voice comes back. Over the last six months, I have been hearing a voice in my head, talking to me, and I know that can’t be good. I haven’t told anyone about it, but I’m pretty sure I’m losing my mind. Maybe all the shit that has happened to me in the past has finally just made me snap. You’re not losing your mind, you idiot. You need to start listening to me. You can’t ignore me forever. I can’t seem to clear the niggling voices from my mind. My spirits are on overdrive tonight, at times the amount of voices that are trying to work their way through to the front, hissing and snapping at each other as if they have the right to be at the main event. I shouted as I held my arms out and demonstrated as I tried to look at my hands and couldn’t see them. “I am not the disembodied voice. You are.” The voice countered. I groaned and pressed the heel of my palms into my eyes in frustration. This voice is on my last nerve. How dare it be so childish to throw back my argument. I know I’m real. I can feel the aches in my body; therefore, I must be real. It’s just trying to mess with my head. “You don’t believe me. That is unsurprising.” The voice stated. “If you focus, you will realize I’m right.”

“It’s important.” Her brows lifted just slightly. She moved closer and sat beside me, her posture attentive now. “What is the matter?” I hesitated and let out a sigh before speaking. “I’ve been hearing voices for a while now. Not all the time. They just come and go.” Mama Agba didn’t interrupt, which somehow made it harder to continue. “It started a while ago,” I went on. “At first I thought it was stress, exhaustion, my mind playing tricks on me. They would disappear for days, sometimes weeks.”

I reminded myself or more like convince myself. I close my eyes in frustration not wanting to deal with my stupid conflicting inner feelings. Why can't they just agree on one thing instead of listing all the reasons that my so-called conscious tries to ignore? The fight between my two selves, one who purely states facts on behalf of my heart and the other with two red horns sees only the bad stuff. The constant what if's of life stays with him, and seriously when they start arguing it's like the most irritating thing. I couldn't agree with either of them. They are my biggest fears that I've shut down since forever. They can easily turn a small thing into this huge boulder of burden that it'l

My head felt like it was about to split into two. I clutched it, a sound escaping my lips. “Argggh,” my voice went into the air, returning to me. “Shit, I didn't think you'd hear me.” the voice came again. “What's going on?” I managed to ask, my head was already against the other parts of me, and if I were going crazy, I guess the crazy part might have an answer to that too. The voice went silent for a while as the throbbing in my head clawed its way into me, my throat was going hoarse from the sounds escaping it.

But the murmurs spread anyway, whispers catching fire like sparks in dry, brittle grass, turning into outright accusations. I wonder why Zeke is angry, when they're right. I push him aside, wanting to speak for myself. To justify their fears and anger toward me, but those damn voices in my head begin to act up. A million of them, all speaking at once. The world begins to sway and the voices in the room gets louder, contrasting with the voices in my head. Everything and everyone is talking at once, it becomes so overwhelming that I scream at the top of my lungs. "Shut up!"
