"I need a physical copy for Professor Hale, she doesn't take digital, and my dorm printer's out of ink."
"The library's still open for another hour," I said, already grabbing my jacket. "Let's go. We will finish there."
We threw everything into our bags and rushed out into the cold, snow just beginning to fall in scattered flakes as we half walked, half jogged across campus toward the library. By the time we got a table near the printers, the flakes outside had already thickened considerably.
We kept working, the library slowly emptying around us until it was just the two of us and one bored student worker doing rounds. Somewhere around 3 hours, Ariana finally sat back, rubbing her eyes.
