Nyx, my little Inner Wolf, stared at my veins which already rose to the level I thought I was going to die. "Three, two and one...!" It whispered to me, the voice feeling like another wolf in me. "Don't you remember you're already 20?" A powerful blow of the breeze hit my head, crushing me into a stunning silence. My gut was suspended and I had to just listen to my Inner Wolf. Then, I turned my eyes again to the sky, and it brightened up. "Regards from the Martial Lord of the Silver Sword Academy." As soon as I heard that voice, I screamed, deciding not to hold it anymore. "Mom, where are you?"

"Something... important." He leaned back in his chair, arms crossing over his broad chest. His face remained impassive, but I could feel the tension rolling off him in waves. "I’m listening," he said, the words clipped and cold. I inhaled sharply, trying to find the strength to continue. My voice barely rose above a whisper. "I was sent here. On orders." Ryu’s eyes narrowed slightly, but he said nothing, waiting. "My father is Sir Harry," I confessed, each syllable tasting like ash on my tongue. "Alpha of Moon Hound Pack."

He looks like he’s trying to breathe through his mouth and not his nose, leaving me to assume he finds the scent off-putting, too. Tasha nods. “It’s not exactly the same, but it’s similar enough that whatever they’re from are definitely the same species if not the same…things.” She says “things” in a tone that projects both disgust and bewilderment. “Alpha!” I hear Channing call as he approaches with Blake and Serafina. It takes just a moment before I realize he’s carrying a human over his shoulder in a fireman’s carry. “Who do you have there, Channing?” I ask, feeling my mouth go dry and the sensation of my stomach dropping, fearing the answer.

His gaze swept the room, every word deliberate. “She has carried burdens no Luna should ever carry, and she has done it with grace. And tonight, the two of us have an announcement to make, one that I, as her Alpha and mate, am proud to be giving.” He paused, his eyes finding mine again, softening just slightly before turning steel-sharp once more. “My Luna, Valerie Blackthorn,” he said clearly, “is carrying my heir…”

Nothing about him excites me enough to want to spend time with him. A devious thought crawls into my mind and I smile even wider; “No, I don’t mind. I’d like us to talk.” My chest constricts with guilt at the twinkle of excitement in his eyes. He retrieves his phone from his pocket and stretches it towards me; “My name is Hinata. Can I have your number?” I can feel the full weight of Bhyron’s stare on me now. He’s no longer concerned with being discreet. My blood pressure jumps with excitement.

Itachi asked her. "Well he didn't say his surname, it's a mystery, he just said I should just call him Uchiha. You might be right Itachi, his name is Sasuke Arnold Uchida" Shock was registered on Itsumi and Itachi's faces. "What? What is the matter? Why the shocked expressions on your faces?" Sakiko asked. They both exchanged a look at each other before looking back at her.
