“I’m from the Moonshadow Pack.” “Moonshadow Pack? I’d heard of them. Why are you here?” “I ran away,” Anne explained. “I’m working as a servant at Umbra Academy now. It’s… complicated.” My suspicion lingered, but I was too weak to resist. “Umbra Academy?” Anne nodded. “It’s a place for the elite. Killers and witches, shifters. They teach you how to survive, how to lead. It’s not a kind place, but it’s powerful.”

From the tallest floor of the tallest tower in the Academy, Amanda Lucifer observed her new intake of students flooding through the portal gates. For three days, the portal will open and she will have a good show to watch for the next five years. Would this batch of students turn out more promising than the last?

Raeyan muttered when he saw the umbrella on top of Raine’s study table. “What’s wrong?” Raine asked and turned to look at where Raeyan was looking. Then, he saw the umbrella. “Oh. It’s Vermeil’s umbrella.” He said. Raeyan could recognize that it was not Raine’s umbrella. “Why do you have his umbrella?” he asked. “He lent it to me.” Raine answered. “Then how about your umbrella?” Raeyan asked. “I lent it to another student.” Raine answered. “Why?” Raeyan asked.

The very image of freedom. Maybe I should just steal it and run. The thought makes me smile lazily. They’d never catch me. Aiden’s bike could outrun the entire campus. The only problem? Yet I am getting older and to be honest I’m excited I was finally leaving, plus the greatest of things is that I’m not going alone anymore. Zander and Daisy as well got letters that invited them there which you can say. It’s a little weird cause Utopia High is one of the hardest Academic school to get into. Evermore I will not be going into this knowing that if I do, I will regret it. The only con is that I, Daisy and Zander have only a day to pack. It’s odd as I disheveled my room to the bare it seemed as it was centuries ago when I was younger praying to all goddesses. The Moon Goddess, Aura Goddess of Pixies and so many more.

She nods her head and stretches her hands out towards me. Before I blink, my brother pushes me through a portal and I'm sucked into limbo and land at the front door of the Academy. It's dark and I have no idea what time it is, I turn remove the shorts and shift, I pick them up in mouth and run to my cabin, I shift back and head for the door only to find it's locked. The next day, I wore my uniform and bought the black umbrella Angelo lent me. I'll return it to him after dismissal. I was hoping the classes to go by faster. And after a few hours of waiting, the bell rang for dismissal. I was excited to give the umbrella back and I saw Kevin outside our classroom, he gave me his daily dose of candy mix- that's what we call it.
