Amanda was cheering for Gabriel. "Have you talked to her yet?" I shake my head, "No, I'm not sure that I want to," Kelsy nods in understanding. Most of the guys were sweating like pigs and took off their shirts. Not one of them looked as good as Xander does. His long hair that was contained in a bun had fallen, drenched in sweat. His bare skin looked like he stood out in the rain. That's how sweaty he is right now. The guys break from their huddle and take their places, Ryder passes Xander the ball, and he takes off running fast. Gabriel starts running towards Xander, and in a split second, he throws the ball back to Ryder, and Xander tackles Gabriel to the ground.

On top of the makeshift cake was a single, pink candle. One of the two students sitting by the table jumped up and held out a crimson balloon. “Happy belated birthday!” he exclaimed, his eyes on my mark. A smile cracked on his lips, and he peered up to me. “It isn’t much, but we hope you like it. Welcome to Academia of the Moon. You’re going to love it here.” It took me a moment to recuperate from surprise before accepting the balloon and offering a smile. “Uh, thank you?” I glanced at Ariah. “What’s going on?”

Jason warns pointing his index finger at xyla shoving him away from the door as he closes the door banging it behind him, Xyka looks down to nadir who doesn't react or pay attention to wither boys, "You care to explain?" Xyla asks nadir , Nadir doesn't respond instead she lays down on her bed putting in her covers and pulling the duvet around her, "I won't have you treat me this way, you might be the Luna to the pack but between you and I must I remind you there is connection between is? I avoided looking outside, not wanting to face the gloomy weather. When they returned, Xander approached me, his cold palms snuggling against my feet, eliciting a hiss from me due to the sudden chill. Concerned, he took off his T-shirt and hovered over me, his warm bare chest near my curled-up body. Confusion filled my voice as I asked, “What are you doing? Where is Alex?” “Playing at my caretaker's house with Ace. He’s fine. It’s time to show you what I feel when it rains,” he replied, his lips moistening with a hint of desire.

And not in a good way. When I summoned up the courage to look at him again, his gaze was fixed on me, his hand stretching out to me. My brows furrowed instantly. "The ice cream, dewdrop." He muttered, gruffly, and the fluttering of my stomach heightened. This time, it was in an incredibly good way. "Dewdrop?" Ace echoed, his gaze alternating between us. "None of your business." Xander flashed him another warning glare and Ace raised his hands in submission.

I questioned, my heart racing. Alex and Sean stared at Xander as though they needed his permission to say something. The unease in their actions only fueled my frustration. Why were they behaving so oddly? Xander nodded, silently permitting them, and Sean handed me his phone. Confusion wrinkled my brow as I peered at the screen. An article was open, its headline proclaiming, ‘WHAT ARE THE MOST ELIGIBLE BACHELORS UP TO?’

Mr. X looks up at her from his seat. “I’m 42, I know you are only 18.” “And that doesn’t bother you?” Ada asks. “I’m buying a wife and heir, there isn’t much that could bother me at this point,” Mr. X looks her in the eye as he speaks. “Fine,” Ada takes a pen and carefully signs “Amber Lacey” “You can shower and do whatever you need to,” Mr. X stands. “Follow me.”

I think I am becoming addicted to it. After I left the library, I subconsciously went to the rooftop. I want to spend the rest of the lunch period there. The rooftop is actually very quiet. No one comes here except for Xander and me now. I sat down and brought out my book and started reading. I was so deep into reading the book that I didn’t notice that someone had entered the rooftop. “I know I will find you here.!” I turned to see Xander standing in his glory. He is wearing the school uniform without the blazers and his sleeves were rolled up. He paired the outfit with a black Nike sneakers. He looks as if he is modeling for the school magazine or something like that.

Umbrie chuckled. " And Crystal's em_" Umbrie paused and looked up when the door opened. The Alpha who was seriously and impatiently waiting for what she wanted to say growled silently when he perceived his Gamma's scent. " Oh, it's Xander." Umbrie called immediately and Kaden saw the relief that washed through her face. " Hi," Xander passed a smile and she nodded, he turned to Kaden who excused himself and stood up as he followed Xander. " Wow, he's fucking handsome." Ivy gushed and Umbrie turned to her with a killer look the drooling Ivy didn't even notice.

There were two spare umbrellas which Xavier held, so he opened them and gave one of them to Eric and Derek for them to share. The last yellow umbrella in Xavier's hand, since he had already opened it, he used it to protect himself from the rain. He said to them, “Let's hurry inside”. Vanessa, Eric, and Derek nodded at Xavier after hearing what he said to them. Vanessa knocked on the gate a few times, before the gate was opened by the security guy. Everyone entered the mansion after Vanessa got in first. As for the cab driver, he drove off after he saw that everyone had entered the mansion.
