The Last Alpha’s Mate

The Last Alpha’s Mate

I covered my face, silently. “Oh, here she comes!” The doctors began to murmur. I rolled my eyes to the heavens. Back then at the facility, presentations like this were nothing. If these men thought they could intimidate me, they were fucking wrong. “The pathogen is called Hydravirus-9. It was discovered during a synthetic biology experiment. It mimics basic microbial DNA and alters cell hydration, forcing massive internal dehydration… while cells drown. “It spreads by water, through any unboiled or unfiltered liquid.” I took a breath. “It was neutralized years ago by my department. But if it’s resurfaced here, that means someone’s pulled a sample out of cold storage.”

One In A Million

Below the rotating structures of the viruses, their names were written, Spanish Flu of 1918, 2019 Novel Coronavirus, and 2050's UVirus. He scrolled down and the information of each virus flashes, with its origin, history, way of transmission, cases, and its deaths. Sean explains that through his study, the three viruses were most likely similar to each other when it comes to massive cases, deaths, and the fast wide-spread. But when it comes to the type of virus, only the first two were similar, they both fall in respiratory diseases, while today's UVirus falls in the nervous system diseases since the virus attacks the brain.

Her Bloom Isn’t Red Anymore

Her Bloom Isn’t Red Anymore

There was no obvious link between the victims, yet their arrivals matched the city’s lockdown and the blacked - out streets following the explosion. Nurses whispered rumors in hushed tones, voices trembling over the hum of machines: Nurse 1: “It’s… some kind of virus. Not listed anywhere.” Nurse 2 (shaking head): “I’ve never seen anything like this. It’s spreading faster than we can track.” At the center of the chaos, Dr. Miro, older, seasoned, and sharp - eyed, observed with grim understanding. She’d seen similar outbreaks before — deep - cover experiments gone wrong, infections masked by layers of secrecy. Every symptom, every anomaly fit a pattern she knew too well.

The Cherished Wife

The Cherished Wife

"Peter, this is a newly developed virus. It's associated with an organization based in Kerlsberg. I had only heard rumors of it until now." Steven, Charles, and Peter exchanged looks. Peter finally broke the silence, asking, "Does this virus have a latency period? And if so, how long? Would a bone marrow transplant between people carrying it cause further harm?" Marvin looked uneasy. "I've never encountered this virus personally. I've only heard about it. I can't give you a clear answer. How long has this virus been in her body?" All eyes turned to Sean, who squirmed under their collective gaze. "Why are you all staring at me? I can't give a precise answer. But if Tania left three years ago,

"Those two students have been diagnosed with Novavirus." I felt the blood drain from my face as the feared words washed over me. Of course it was the same illness as Jackson's. "But...if I may..." I struggled to gather my racing thoughts. "Jackson Ville had been carrying this virus for who knows how long before it was detected. If his records hadn't been leaked so publicly, we all might have remained oblivious. Yet when Trent and the others were exposed, the symptoms appeared almost immediately." The doctor nodded grimly. "An excellent observation. You see, novavirus exists in two distinct strains - a highly virulent form that progresses with alarming speed, and a milder variety that lies do

The Alpha's Deceit

The Alpha's Deceit

"What do we know about this bacteria? How did it come to our attention?" Dr. Grant adjusted his glasses, choosing his words carefully. "It was detected in a sample of materials we collected from the jet. The virus was responsible for everything that happened to all of you. The mountain ash, silver and wolfsbane in a speck of pixel dust are the cover-up scent the virus has. That way, your focus will be on those while it attacks. The alarming part is that it seems to adapt and resist our traditional treatments. We're still studying its origins and mechanisms, but the urgency cannot be overstated. I need a blood sample of everyone that was on that jet. Shifters and humans. We don't know if it h

Spoiled by Mr. Russell

Seeing that Dominic had finally turned to look at him, Austin was delighted. "Uncle Dom, don't waste your time! These medical books are a thousand years old. No matter how good they were in the past, they can’t keep up with an ever-changing society. “Besides, these viruses were developed abroad. They’re new and mutable. There’s no way these ancient books know how to tackle them." He felt that what Dominic was doing was pointless.

How many chapters will this book have I have already spent $40.00 and that could have bought a whole novel. The book is good but it doesn’t need to carry on forever!!! What is the last chapter? I wouldn’t have started reading it had I known it wasn’t complete. This disappoints me greatly!!!

I would like to give my opinion on when his eyes open…… the book is great to read, but I feel like I pay to read that’s okay, but now it’s like the chapters is getting shorter, I don’t want to start on another story when I did not finish the first one. Please let me finish reading this book.

The Alpha’s Shadow Luna

The Alpha’s Shadow Luna

He brought the results on a tablet, scrolling through numbers and markers that meant nothing to me but made both healers lean in with furrowed brows. “Your bloodwork shows an anomaly,” Maren said carefully. “Your white cell count is elevated in a way that doesn’t correspond to a standard infection. But there’s a secondary marker we’re seeing, something we’ve only encountered in documented cases from centuries ago.” She looked up from the tablet. “It’s a rare viral strain. Ancient. It attaches itself to hosts who’ve been exposed to concentrated dark magic in enclosed environments.” “In English,” Keanu said. “The mountain.” Maren looked at me. “Where you fought the Raven Witch. Timeless Cure

Timeless Cure

I gave him a nod as I raked my mind for questions just to veer the topic away. "So, what is this new project you're working on?" "It's supposed to bring clues of the virus and its origins. Our lab has developed a technology that will send doctors to an incubated space to get samples of the virus and examine it from the past so we would finally understand its roots and therefore find a cure." He answered. Did he just say past? How in the world does that work? I shifted in my seat, I'm beginning to feel very uncomfortable. "Excuse me, did you say 'past'? As in like from yesterday's?" I said. I must have looked so dumb since he chuckled.

Research has proved it has genomic features with mix of known elements, and that it is a laboratory construct. The source of the outbreak in Hill Valley, USA was as a result of miscalculation by the E.G, also known as End Game, a terrorist organization. The containment system failed and the virus spread from workers to civilians on the streets. Vul Ruhl, head of the E.G has been imprisoned as of 15th September, 2028. Whereas the cure to this virus is unknown, it has continued to spread across the globe. Sevil Virus infected its first Nigerian in March, 2029 when an uninfected man, whose name shall not be disclosed, shook hands with an infected European.
