The place was unnervingly quiet. I froze as a vulture suddenly flew out of my mother’s room. Another followed, then another. My heart sank. Summoning every ounce of courage, I stepped inside. My feet landed in something thick and cold—blood. I let out a scream as my eyes fell on the horrifying scene before me. My father’s headless body lay sprawled on the floor, a pool of blood surrounding him. My gaze shifted, and there was my mother—her lifeless body pinned to the wall with a sword through her throat. Her chest had been ravaged by vultures.

Instead, it had only resulted in a heavy, drowning silence following the destruction of something sacred. He stood at the edge of the area within the trees, watching ashes move in different directions through the air like fading snowflakes. The healers were busy looking after the injured, while the Luna gave out orders with a voice sharp enough to pierce through the sadness. Yet there was an unspoken fear among them all—the unsettling worry that the fire hadn’t truly finished what it had started. Because somewhere out there, beyond those trees… Lydia was still alive. And that meant the Purge had not purified anything at all; it had simply awakened her.

The yard had disappeared. Not literally, of course, but everything familiar about it had been buried under a thick, untouched layer of snow that stretched from the steps all the way to the fence line. The shrubs along the edges had turned into smooth rounded shapes, their branches hidden beneath drifts that looked soft enough to dive into. Behind me the door creaked open again. Lucas burst through it like a small red comet. "I told you!" he shouted triumphantly, his voice ringing across the quiet morning air.

It would fix me in an unblinking stare while its black lips curled into a sinister sneer. I would try to look away, but find I couldn’t move as a sense of dread washed over me. Then, as soon as it appeared it was gone, replaced by an image even more horrific, that of someone I loved dying a gruesome death while the creature’s high-pitched cackle sounded in my head. My father, my aunt, my mates, my friends. The victim changed every night but it always ended the same, with me waking up screaming with the all too real scent of blood still in my nostrils.

I removed my face from her palm and nodded. 'My name is Julia Peters. The founder of the group, Hunters'. 'I thought It was a company'. 'It is. And it is not'. 'Oh'. 'It is every thing. To a factory, industry, company, Everything'. 'Oh'. 'Come with me'. She led me deeper into her office and opened a door. You'd think it's a normal room but no, it's full of everything to weapons, machineries,bunks, Tents, Sleeping bags, Sleeping pads, Camping pillows, lamps, flashlights, Camp chairs, Camp tables, Lantern, etc.

There was something I was dying to know, and I thought Spencer might be willing to tell me. “So, Spencer, can I ask you a question?” He shrugs, not looking back at me as we exit the kitchen to go towards the family room. “Shoot.” I bit on my lip while forming my question. “How did you all... get this place?” Spencer opens the basement door and starts to descend the stairs. “You mean, do Shape Shifters work?” I opened my mouth to apologize for sounding rude, but Spencer kept speaking. “Well, Stephan's family owns a company. Who knows what it is. But, they have so much money, they were able to create this sanctuary for all the supernatural being who have nowhere else to go.”

If all the undead here come out of sanctuary, Undead would be able to destroy a few of the weak countries out there on the surface. It became level 16 after conquering the entire upper floor of the Undead Sanctuary. His stature became quite satisfactory in his eyes, especially his strength attribute. His strength attribute was now over a hundred. He could now literally punch a hole in iron without causing any damage. He also collected enough souls to use the [Soul Reaper] effect. He used it twice and increased his dexterity and intelligence. He finally balanced his agility and dexterity. This made it faster.
