Tatlong taon na ang nakalipas simula noong maghiwalay sina Eloise at Cassian dahil matinding awayan ng kanilang mga pamilya. Napagtanto ni Cassian na mahal niya pa rin si Eloise kahit ilang taon pa ang nakalipas, nagsisi siya kung bakit iniwan niya ang babaeng pinakamamahal at sinisi sa kasalanang hindi naman siya ang may gawa.
