Deep beneath the bustling Diamond District lay the "Under-Grid" bar, a hidden spot filled with booming bass and swirling violet mist. In this underground space saturated with the smell of ozone and shady data transactions, those known as the "Unregistered" bartered away their humanity for a chance at prolonging their fragile existence.

She hugged me, gently patting my shoulder. "Come on, let's go to the basement," Zane said politely to my friends as he led us downstairs. He walked so quickly that by the time we reached the basement, he had already unlocked the door and switched on the lights. The basement had four rooms—a store room, a gym, and two lounge areas for guests. I took them inside to get a better look. It was clean and tidy like before. Every room looked untouched; not only had nothing been added, but nothing had been taken either.

"They always do." "Then I'll cheat back." Jack headed for the elevator, then remembered that the elevator wasn't working. "Katherine, where's the nearest entrance to the Undercity?" "There's a junction point under Grand Central. But Jack, you can't just walk in there and—" "Watch me." The Undercity was exactly as unpleasant as its name suggested. Beneath Grand Central Station, past the maintenance tunnels and the secret platforms that the MTA pretended didn't exist, there was a world that most New Yorkers would never see. A world of perpetual darkness, bioluminescent fungi, and creatures who had decided that sunlight was overrated.

He did a great job on the house.  I guess a lot of people stay here cause the open doors that I saw while walking with the girls looked occupied. It made me even more curious to find out all about their reason for being here. We stopped at the last door of the third floor and Riley opens it leading me and Julia inside. It was simple yet elegant giving a royal vibe.  By the time I was done checking out the whole room, Julia and Riley exited the walk-in closet with 3-4 pairs of jeans and tops.

I covered his erection as I smiled at Jillian and Abegail. "Do you need anything, sweethearts?" "What are you doing here?" Jillian asked. I was thankful that Abegail then saved me by answering my question instead. "We thought we would grab a mop because Jillian spilled her water on the floor." "You can’t kiss in the closet, Mommy. He turns us to the right. There the space is empty for the most part. A robe hangs on a hook by the door. At the end of the empty racks, another space for shoes takes up a portion of the wall. Three pairs of fuzzy slippers in yellow, green, and Giants orange are illuminated by the overhead lighting. We walk farther into the closet where a large white square dresser takes up the middle of the space. He pulls open the top drawer a small amount. There's a flash of pink before he closes it again.

The closet was not a walk in and he could suffocate just by choosing to hide from her in there. Fear gripped my heart as I realized, there was no hiding space for him. I was tempted to open the door but there was a high chance she was hoping we thought she had left. "Quick, under her bed." I ordered, pushing him to move. He stared reluctantly under the wooden bed frame but succumbed to my command and slipped himself beneath the bed. I looked around to see if there could be any sorts of missing items that could give us away but the environment seemed free of suspicious possessions.

I suggested and didn't wait for the owner of this room to answer as I had closed the photo album, and I ran to a place where I could possibly hide when I heard footsteps approaching. Bathroom? No. What if the woman would pee? How about under the bed? Hmm, maybe. But damn, all I have in my mind that I know where I could be a little bit safe and free to move if ever her Mimi would certainly stay here in this room for the rest of the night is inside her walk-in closet. "Wow, you have a huge closet!" I muttered in awe when I had locked the door behind me and looked around her fancy dresses, coats, and shoes in here.

The rest of them looked like they were experiencing some sort of existential crisis. Kaden was pacing, Elsie sat stiffly with her arms crossed, and Mora looked like she was trying not to explode from impatience. In the center of the long oak table sat a box. I looked fucking ancient. Rough-hewn wood with dark metal corners and strange etchings worn down by time. I didn’t need anyone to tell me what it was. “What exactly am I looking at?” I asked, walking toward it slowly. “We found it buried under the east foundation of the hotel,” Kaden said, rising to her feet. “It was extremely well hidden. It was as if whoever hid it didn’t want it to be found”

Because it does not I stand up from the ground and walk around the room. There's a made bed in here, and the theme of the room is white and gray. I notice a grand closet, and my leg carries me towards it. I open it up to see clothes... And they're all my size. What the hell is going on here? The underwear, the jeans, the tops, the gown—they're all perfectly fitted to my body. I shut the closet immediately and stepped away from it, clutching my chest hard.
