Under The Oak Tree Characters Novels & Stories

They hated everyone who was associated with my father; they made sure to get rid of them. A few minutes into my walk, my eyes suddenly caught something under the apple tree in the orchard, the one Luna Jane would normally spend all her days under. I thought I thought it was an animal, a fox, or even a bear, but the moonlight made my wolf sight sharper in the dark. I saw a dark figure, looking like a man, but when I moved closer, I saw that two people were standing under this tree.

In the center stood a giant, ancient oak tree, its branches spreading out like protective arms. "It has a high-tech security system, a gated community, and a twenty-four-hour patrol," Cole listed off the specs, his businessman persona momentarily shielding his vulnerability. "But look at the backyard, Sabrina. Really look at it." "The tree," I whispered, tracing the lines of the oak with my thumb.

The white tree was there too, smaller now, but still standing. A pup asked him: “Were the old wolves stupid? To fight over trees?” Oka laughed. “No, baby. They were brave. They taught us that choice isn’t between right and wrong. It’s between different kinds of right.” “What kind are you?” the pup asked. Oka looked at his moon. Pink, with one white spot. “I’m a Thorn who takes naps under white leaves. What kind are you?” The pup thought hard. “I’m both too.”

Paul’s and Zephyr’s. Arthur went silent after my remark and must’ve been thinking hard as he bumped into the back of my legs. We had arrived at our destination. “A tree?” Yup, and not just any tree. It was mine, Elizabeth’s, and Kevin’s tree. The great oak stood high and proud amongst its fellow trees, but its age gave it a leg up among the rest. Its aged texture made its bark pronunciate the markings we had left so long ago. It was our tree. I was sure of it.

Suddenly, Hayley saw a red oak tree appearing from a distance. “That's a red oak.” “I thought you left.” “I gave a thought to your proposal.” Hayley let out. “Are you sure you want to do this? Once you begin they will be no going back.” The old woman said with feverish eyes. “Why did you choose me in the first place? Do I look like a coward?” Hayley asked. “Your father was imprisoned inside that tree in your school. I can help you get him back.” The old woman asserted, she stepped toward the oak tree and placed her palms on it. Saying a spell, the tree glowed, and a book appeared in her hands.

she asked for the third time, curiosity evident on her face. “Be patient, my dear,” I replied with a smile. “Just a few more minutes.” “You know I'm not good at being patient.” “Oh, I'm well aware,” I laughed. “Remember when you were waiting for the results of the Elder Council's test? You paced for three hours.” “That's different!” she protested. “That was about our future as—” She stopped as we rounded the last bend and the view spread out before us. A small meadow surrounded by tall trees, with a small river flowing on one side. In the middle of the meadow stood a huge, ancient oak tree—its branches spread wide, creating a perfect natural canopy.

Wearing a white dress, ending just above my knees, I went out of the house and locked it, so that I can peacefully enjoy my book under the oak tree. That oak tree has always been a special place of mine. It gives me a sense of tranquility whenever I lay my back on its trunk while words flowed from my book towards my brain. I've read that an oak tree is one of the most loved trees in the world. It represents strength, morale, resistance and knowledge. It is also a symbol of honor, nobility and wisdom due to its size and longevity. The sky was bright, but the rays of the sun weren't that harmful even though it's summer already. There were a few clouds up in the never-ending sea of blue. In fro

"Isn't that the last village before the forest up ahead?" Zevko nodded softly. "Yes, darling. We've arrived at our destination." Suddenly, Clara saw someone standing under an oak tree not far from their car. He was a middle-aged man, simply dressed but with an air of nobility. "Zev, isn't he..."

"I'll do it again, for this, without a moment's regret." One by one, the others stepped forward — Ismene first, then the freed man, then my mother, then Elliott and Tyler and Reyes, each extending a hand toward the tree's ancient, waiting branches, until a full circle had formed around its vast, dark trunk, exhausted but resolute, willing despite everything this night had already demanded. "Then let us begin," the tree said, its ancient voice steadying with fresh, cautious hope, "before whatever stirs below finishes waking entirely, and decides the choice has already been made for all of us."

I have quite a bit saved up, and Oakley has some from his moms. We just want to find the perfect place, and we haven’t found it yet. I’m finishing up some stuff now, then heading to meet for lunch with my friends, Giana and Oakley. Giana is actually mated to my friend, Jake. It’s kind of cute seeing them together and happy. At first they clashed a lot, but now they seem a lot better. I finish typing things into the chart, and then I'm heading to a local cafe to meet my mate and friends. I’m the last one there, and I find them in the back corner. They’re all chatting, and laughing.
