MOONLIGHT MAKES HIM CRANKY

MOONLIGHT MAKES HIM CRANKY

Chapter 29: The Confoundation Of Longing The Deep Woods, Outskirts Of Timber Creek School Of Fine Arts, Wakefield, U.S.A... The deep blue eyes of Conway Rollins had not left the sight of the rather curious tree in the center of the forest. The scent of many a wolf had been in the area and for some reason, Conway found himself drawn almost on impulse to this very strange and almost supernatural tree. He felt his blood boil in his veins and his loins ached something fierce as he stood beneath the branches feeling an inevitable pull that had no relent. The first time the tree seemed to call to him, he'd been asleep following his sex romp with the blond omega Owen Clark. He could hear the rustli

The Luna's Lost Halo

Leonardo provided. "The oak tree in the midst of the pines," Hazel muttered as a memory flashed in her mind at those words. After a few minutes of pondering, her eyes widened as she realized what the clue was. "It's the oak tree in the middle of the large pine field, horses' hooves printed on the soaked ground on a rainy day, blood-red moon. The earth has been hurt, or is Mother Moon mourning for her dead children?" she began. "While many sleep, the earth weeps. What a sorrowful night. As the unknown enemy works in the darkness of the night. Under the large oak tree lies the secret to her salvation. But then again, it also holds the power to her damnation."

Chosen By The Moon

Chosen By The Moon

“When she gave you the ability to hide your scent, where did you go to ask her for help?” The woman glanced at Oliver, who looked as equally as baffled as she was. “That old oak tree.” She pointed to a large majestic tree, that sat directly at the edge of the clearing, we walked over to it and noticed a pattern carved deeply into the bark… “it’s the lunar cycle.” “The Luna oak!” Oliver quickly dropped to his knees in front of the tree out of respect. “I’ve only ever seen pictures… It’s said that the original lycans planted it, in respect of the goddess herself.” It was the perfect place for me to attempt to make contact again.

excellent work author and I think I understand the reasons why you insisted so much on this pain during the first pages. I am sure that Dylan will not remain without her arm, like all those who are still alive and were mutilated during the battle, she will ask the goddess for help on this subject.

I Wish they would make physical versions of it. This is one of the few stories of this type that I'm really enjoying to read. I'm still in chapter 20. I hope they keep the quality... but, until now, this book is definitely my favorite from all the ones that is in apps there is like this one.

My Boyfriend's Dad?

My Boyfriend's Dad?

"He was stubborn. He was loud. He took up space. He did not die easily. He was not supposed to die at all." Damon stood up. "Come on." "Where are we going." "To the nursery. We are buying an oak tree." --- The nursery was crowded. Even on a Tuesday. Even in the fall. People buying mums and pumpkins and bags of soil. Damon walked to the back. Found the trees. "Oak," he said to the man behind the counter. "What kind." "The kind that lasts." The man looked at him. Looked at me. Did not ask questions.

His Mate, His Enemy

His Mate, His Enemy

“He hasn’t released me.” “He will.” The certainty in her tone leaves no room for doubt. “What if he never does?” Her head tilts slightly. “He will.” Silence hums between us. “Where?...Where can i find you?” I ask. The clearing shifts. The trees blur and rearrange. The vision expands outward like a map unfurling. I see forest stretching westward denser, darker. A narrow trail barely visible beneath overgrowth. A river cutting through stone. Then a massive oak tree. Its trunk is split clean down the center, blackened along the jagged seam as if lightning once struck it from sky to root. The top half leans precariously but still lives, branches heavy with leaves.

My Omega Slave

My Omega Slave

Levi Manages to get out while trying to take deep breathes as I continue to tickle him relentlessly. "I'm up...I'm up!" comes Logan's laugh as Noah has his foot trapped under his arm and he's ticking him without Mercy. Tickling the twins is always a sure-fire way of waking them up, then again we're all ticklish, we get that from our mom. I sit back down in my seat and start admiring the view from my window. We come to a gate and once my dad gives his name we are let through and continue down a single road. Either side of the road is covered with beautiful large oak trees, I mean big ass trees. I find myself lost in them for a little while, there's a beauty to them that I can't explain.

Tempting The Billioanire

Tempting The Billioanire

Then he crouched and unwrapped the larger one. The painting was larger than I had expected. Two feet by three, oil on canvas, the tree in three-quarter view against a particular quality of afternoon sky — the kind of sky that was specific to the San Gabriel Valley, clear and high and pale at the horizon. The tree itself was a California oak, old, its crown spreading in the way of something that had decided long ago to take the space it needed.

Pregnant For My Ex-Husband’s Billionaire Best Friend

In the center stood a giant, ancient oak tree, its branches spreading out like protective arms. "It has a high-tech security system, a gated community, and a twenty-four-hour patrol," Cole listed off the specs, his businessman persona momentarily shielding his vulnerability. "But look at the backyard, Sabrina. Really look at it." "The tree," I whispered, tracing the lines of the oak with my thumb.

normal things, shared between two people getting to know each other. "Your turn," he said as we wandered into the gemstone exhibit. "Any embarrassing childhood dreams I should know about?" "Well," I grinned, "I did go through a phase where I was convinced I could talk to trees." "No way," Oliver's eyes sparkled with amusement. "How long did that last?" "Three whole months. I'd sit in the garden for hours, having very serious conversations with an old oak tree. My mom has video evidence." "Please tell me you named the tree."

Escaping with the Alpha

Escaping with the Alpha

she said, placing her palms against the tree trunk. Before I had time to ponder what that meant, the tree began to creak, its branches and leaves rustling and shaking. Josh leapt backwards and pulled me away from the tree with him. It couldn’t be. It was. The tree’s large, heavy branches were moving in front of us, bending and twisting as they lowered to the ground. “Climb aboard, my darlings,” said Olive. Josh and I shared a look - neither of us had any idea what had just happened. Were we safe, or was this some kind of new trap? Nothing I’d read about dryads had mentioned they could command their trees as though they were made of rubber instead of solid wood.

A fun-light hearted story with the glitz of magic and spook of relationships. This story felt pocket sized, with no ego and great grammar and sentence structure. My only request is a touch of diversity, to make it more relatable to more people. A lovely weekend escape, fun from beginning to end!
