He shifted in his seat, visibly uncomfortable. “You know what? You can go. Later, we will do it later or some other time.” “No, that can’t be. This is one you’ve been asking for repeatedly. I’m not leaving without giving it to you.” “This is the wrong place,” he said in a hushed and sharp tone. “Remember you’re undercover, Mia. It’s not safe for you to be here.”

Riley and Julia are both part of his gang but have not much experience when it comes to battle time. Drew is the hacker. Alex and Draco are also part of It and are dangerous than they look. They like blowing up warehouses. (well that's a cool thing don't u think) My eyes went to a certain part on the file and guess what I was stunned after reading it. They have a spy in their mafia for the whole 2 yrs who have been leaking their information to an unknown source and they don't even know about it. How is this even possible that the don't have a clue about it...

The scribble figure went back to turning pages in the book that she was holding and she got to a familiar scene and I felt my breathing stop for a second as I was forced to look at the book. “I came home from work. I was soaked in water from the sudden downpour that appeared out of nowhere. I took a bath for an hour and went to play the game so I could figure out who the hidden character was. Then everything is a complete blank… But that a lie, isn’t it ▇▇▇▇▇?” The scribble figure was tapping the picture of my final moment in my last life. I was just sitting in front of my TV as I played “A Highschool Royal Romance”. My eyes looked tired as I blankly played the game.

Dear Reader Thank you for reading the first chapter of the book called, Hot Under Cover. Hot Undercover was originally written as an Interactive Story Game. I am in the process of adapting it into a novel form. The original version contains a great deal of dialogue to fit the platform for which it was intended. Though you can enjoy the story in its interactive format too as currently published. (eg when Aaron speaks, the format will be as this: Aaron ~ "Devan, I think we are damn lost.")

"I felt the creep whenever I came here." I ran my fingers of the spine of each book and then I read the manga's title one by one: "Hanayori Dango", "Harumatsu bokura", "Tsubaki chou planet", "Reimei no Arcana", "Akatsuki no yona". These are all shoujo (romance genre). But there are other sport genre too, like: "Slam dunk", "Haikyuu", "Prince of tennis", "Eyeshield twenty-one", "Kuruko basketball". Fantasies and action genres are available too: "Demon slayer", "Hakuoki", "Bungou stray dogs", "Attack on titans".

He trailed her gaze and gulped when he realized what she was looking at. She walked up to the wall and touched a circular hole on the wall. Like something penetrated it. "What happened? " She asked. "It's just a drill. " He lied and she knew. When she first saw it, she knew immediately it was a bullet that caused it and since he doesn't want to talk, then he's hiding something. If he went to learn self defense, they wouldn't give him licence to a gun. So her assumption was in two ways. It's either he was attacked, and he doesn't want me to know. Or that he's a wanted criminal and is living undercover.

A man who had claimed he was straight, but stole into my room to use this gay man's mouth. My hand wrapped around me. The touch was electric. A jolt went straight up my spine. I was already leaking, a clear bead welling at the tip. I smeared it with my thumb. The slide was obscene. Perfect. I didn’t move to the bed. I stayed at the sink. My other hand found the bottle of lube in the cabinet below. The cap clicked open. The sound was loud in the steamy quiet. I poured too much. It was cold and slick over my fingers. I reached behind me, bracing against the sink with my free hand. My reflection watched me, with black eyes like a bottomless pit and unblinking.
