Liam nodded at a warrior and they hurried off and came back with two large glasses of lemonade. “Thank you,” Adina said and drank hers. When she was done, Johnny held out his towards her. “No thank you, you can drink in,” she told him. He just shook his head and insisted that she would drink it. She smiled and drank his as well. “That hit the spot. Thank you. Let’s get down to business,” Adina said and explained the procedure to Liam. He nodded.

Meredith pushed the thought out of her mind and spooned up the whipped cream. She found that it was not just whipped cream but it looked to be a torte. She tasted each part individually. The whipped cream was infused with a vanilla vodka of some kind. The next layer was a butter cake soaked in a limoncello. She knew her father preferred Volare’s limoncello.

I picked up a lime on the counter and cut it in two. “Let's play a game.” A wide smile spread across his lips, and his eyes shone with interest. “If one of us can lick the lime juice off the other without flinching, that one wins your car.” “The Range Rover?” “Yes. Besides, I need a new car anyway.” “Lime doesn't work for daiquiris, you know that, right? We both know how it'll taste.” “I know. But that's what makes it fun. We both haven't tried it before. If you're able to lick it off my neck and I flinch, you keep your car.”

I needed to moisturize a bit because I looked a little pale. When I was satisfied with how I looked, I headed outside and met Jade pouring himself more lemonade. “Sh*t, it looks like you’re addicted to that.” I laughed, and he joined me. “How can I not be? My Dad joined in,at this point it felt like a family reunion and I was nothing short of excited with goosebumps embracing my face as I sipped from my glass.
