Elsa chuckled, "I would like a rum and cola." I was confused what to order. That night I didn't want to get drunk if I had the wrong drink, especially when I'd never been to a bar before. "She's gonna take soda with a lime." Elsa ordered for me, I just nodded briefly at the word of 'lime' ... thought that drink wouldn't get me drunk.

The fishy white glass was held in front of my face. "Is it drugs?" I ask him. "No, it's something to make you feel better." He whirled the liquid in the glass, the lemon slices sloshing around with the liquid. "Bottoms up." "Okay." I finally took the glass from him and without hesitating, gulped it down in one go. And then I was coughing up my intoxication. "Lemon and ginger juice." I heard him say as he rubbed my back. "It'll help you sober up."

The plates were cleared and two chilled glasses of drink were placed on the table. The pale yellow liquid caught the light, and I eyed it suspiciously. “What's that?” “It's called Limoncello. Trust me,” Xavier said. “You'll like it.” I hesitantly took a sip and savored the taste. “It's nice.” I took another before I could stop myself. “I like it.” “Good. Since that's settled…” Xavier reached behind him and brought out several boxes wrapped in elegant ribbon. “I bought a few things for you.”
