I Carried The Wrong Sperm
Uncle Thomas called, snapping me out of my thoughts.
I blinked.
“Uncle Thomas.”
His eyes moved over me, taking in my soaked clothes, my luggage, and finally my stomach.
“Are you stranded?”
I glanced down at myself. I must have looked pathetic. My clothes were practically dripping, my hair was a mess, and my suitcase was covered in mud from being dragged through the rain.
“Something like that,” I muttered.
He frowned slightly.
“What happened?”
“It's a long story.”
His eyes lingered on my face for a moment before moving back to my belly. He noticed the pregnancy, but thankfully, he didn't ask. Maybe he could tell from my expression that I wasn't ready to talk about it.
