The Billionaire's Revengeful Contract Marriage

The Billionaire's Revengeful Contract Marriage

He handed it to Edmund and walked away to another couch where he made himself comfortable. He handed the book over to me. I took the book from him and read the title aloud. "More than just forgiveness. " I turned it around and saw that the book was written by my mom. I went through the outlines and scanned through the book Edmund had given me quietly. The book talked about various attributes of good people, emphasizing their dislike for taking revenge. The book relayed what revenge causes to people who want to exert it and what it takes from them. "Why are you suddenly going soft?" I asked Edmund.

Unforgivable Secret

Unforgivable Secret

We have to forgive those who do wrong in order to move forward in our own lives. I didn’t hear much of what else she had to say, my mind was too caught up in how many people actually do get hurt during high school, and how I was a large part of the problem until I met her. Morgan was my rescuer from myself. I would’ve never become the person that I was today, one who isn’t the player that I was so known to be. I owe her much more than I could ever give. I made sure I was the first to rise and begin the standing ovation that Morgan so much deserved. Her applause factor reached epic decibel levels. It took a good minute or so for everyone to get resettled so that we could finally end the eveni

The Price of Forgiveness

The Price of Forgiveness

He quickly turned to me and stepped forward to grab my shoulders, “you don’t have to choose. It’s nothing for me to help you. And my offer still stands. If you can’t offer me any other compensation…. I will be happy with anything. Please just give me a chance.” I bit my lip. His eyes were pleading, desperate, and sincere. After a few moments of thought, I slowly nodded, “I will go out with you. You don’t have to buy my tuition.” “Really?” He looked relieved and pulled me into a tight hug. “I want to do it for you. Pay me back… however you want.” ~ Present Day It was that deal that Jacob had quoted when I caught him at the bar. My forgiveness repaid my debt. My suffering was compensation.

love the fact the author helps the readers feel all those emotions we feel in relationships from the happiest to the most self loathing, but gives you that hope that of course love will conquer, even when we don't feel we deserve it!

the story is so human. focusing on emotions. the people are highly emotional beings especially Kat and Reegan and so they make so many mistakes that seems idiotic. though the dealing with emotions could be better. This story is captivating and steamy and I just couldn't put it down

WANTED

WANTED

After Mathew finally decided to leave, I made myself dinner. I took my food to the sitting room putting on my laptop I turned to N*****x to find something interesting to watch, I choose the movie called "the unforgivable," a story about a woman who got released from prison after a long time for a crime she committed, but is rejected by society because of her past, reading the short intro I kinda compared her with myself, only that she committed a crime against a society whereas I committed a crime against the mafia Don, but what makes us similar is that those we offended have decided to see our crimes as "the unforgivable,".....how ironic.

The fake Luna : His undoing

The fake Luna : His undoing

She wrote about the deep, terrible ache in her chest when Soren would leave her alone for weeks without saying a single word to her. She wrote about the pack elders turning their backs on her during meetings, completely neglecting her because she could not produce a child. My heart felt heavy as I read her simple, sad words. Soren and the pack had emotionally destroyed her. They made her feel entirely useless. But as I turned the very last page, I sighed in frustration. There was nothing. There was no mention of a plot to kill her. There were no names of specific enemies. There was no solid proof to pinpoint that the pack’s neglect directly led to her murder.

Punished for a Lie, Freed by Death

Punished for a Lie, Freed by Death

Seeing the Bennetts again made me feel annoyed. I'd specifically forced myself to change transportation several times to get to this remote little town, all so I could spend my final moments alone in peace. But they just had to chase after me, acting like they actually cared about me. If they really cared, why would I have endured those eight years of being tortured by guilt and constantly punished by Kayla to atone for my sins? Watching Kayla pick up her phone to actually contact a medical team, I struggled to call out a single word, "Kayla."

False Death and Forgotten Promise

False Death and Forgotten Promise

Blood must be paid with blood! The hotel manager stood nearby, his face stern. He blamed me for the damage and demanded compensation. His expression carried a hint of malice as he commented, “If you didn’t do anything wrong, why would anyone go to such lengths to get back at you? You should pay for your mistakes.” It was late, and moving to another hotel wasn’t really an option, so I paid the money. However, an idea suddenly popped into my head. If I had to suffer in silence, I had to make sure Xavier felt every bit of it too.

The Forgotten

The Forgotten

Was spoken in a soft, yet lethal voice. It was that voice that soft spoken question that got through to the young man. Realizing how serious of an error in judgement that he had made, he began to sputter an apology. But Richard had had enough of the fool's posturing. His and his father's. "Save your breath, you miscreant, for you are going to the dungeon. You and your father both, and when we leave for Mira's wedding, you shall go as her gift. Shackled and gagged properly to keep you from making anymore trouble. I have had enough of you and your insolent behavior." Turning to Anton, he said, "You! This is your fault. You knew exactly what you were doing when you allowed him every indulgence.
