In the past, the snow in Kyoto would always come earlier, but this winter was an exception. Although the winter this year was very cold and even though every day was piercingly cold and chilly, there was no snowfall at all. Earlier today, the Kinki Regional Meteorological Department had issued a heavy snow warning stating that there would be heavy snowfall in Kyoto tonight. Nanako loved snow the most, so she went out to the courtyard earlier to wait for the snowfall.
