SSHS 138 The next day, there were still no classes due to the build up of snow and the intensive clearing of it. Even the students in the dorms inside the La Florence Academy volunteered themselves to help clear the built up snows everywhere— though most of the students used this opportunity to have a photoshoot for their i*******m accounts or just to better their image in the society— but nonetheless, there was work done and in that very same afternoon, almost all of the snow were cleared from all the roadways and the whole school ground is neat and tidy.

There would be no delivery. I stood up and laughed coldly. “Then stop wasting electricity,” I said. “Save the money and buy some cold medicine instead. You would not want your precious assistant catching a chill in a sixty-degree air-conditioned room. “I quit.” Jessica froze. “You are resigning over something this small? Just because of the air conditioning?”

"Come on, let's team up against Sandy. I'll help you remove the snow from my car later." I nodded eagerly, accepting his invitation. Our smiles grew wider, filled with playful anticipation. As snowballs flew through the air, we laughed uncontrollably, not caring about getting hit or the coldness surrounding us. "I can't believe you actually hit me!" I exclaimed, brushing off the snow from my coat. "You shouldn't underestimate me," Christopher replied with a smirk, readying his next attack."Go take that!" I can't stop giggling but when all gets enough I jump into offense mode, the girls are now under my mercy as I tickle them. When the snow runs out, I stop. Ruffling it all out of my hair I look directly at them all, "Now tell me why I'm being attacked by two naught elves and five people—who are too old for this— on Christmas day?" As if for some effect Nic sprays the last of his snow in my face, I huff some of it out of my mouth and clear my face. "Firstly you are never too old to snow attack someone," he shrugs.

He reached out to caress her alluring cheeks and murmured, “What made you think I had enough?” Yanni dared not listen any further and feigned indifference. “I have to get up for work.” As she began to sit up, Keaton gently pressed down her arms. Keaton's grip wasn't strong. It was more imbued with affection. His gaze was deep and loving. “The snow hasn't stopped all night, and there's a layer of fresh snow outside. Do you want to take a day off?” Yanni looked outside. The world was draped in silver, with pristine white snow piling up on the bare branches, which fell softly to the ground when the wind blew.

I walked towards the gate where Hannah and Emma were waiting and when they spotted me, a big grin grew on their faces. "Difficult?" asked Emma once I reached them. "A bit... But I did my best..." I simply answered, not that confident. "Oh cmon, I'm sure you'll pass, now, cheer up!" Hannah said brightly, causing people to look at us. "Sorry!" apologized Emma to them and she turned to me, "What you need is to relax. Why don't we go shopping?" "So it's going to be our Girls' Day then?" asked Hannah. Emma waved off, “No, it's not. Today is going to be Snow's Day."

As rain started to fall, I belatedly remembered how the weather forecast said it would get colder later in the night, and maybe even start to snow. Once it starts snowing in Atlanta, it never seems to stop. I used to dread winter, but Lucas would always wrap me in his coat several sizes larger than I was, keeping a warm blanket available in his car just for me. Looking back now, those moments of so-called happiness were never meant to last. As the rain poured harder, strands of hair stuck damply to my forehead, and my steps wavered almost to the point of collapse. I shook my head and let out a bitter laugh. How did my life end up like this?

Completely disgusted, Pia Drew walked briskly going inside but Andrew held her hand tightly that he could feel her bones in his palm. "Remember everything you did in the library?" Andrew showed his dimpled left cheek. "Are artists supposed to be trained how to handle situations like that?" Pia Drew hardly pulled off his hand from her wrist. "Sunny, why do you hate me so much?" There was a sudden silence while their eyes met. That was the very first time Pia Drew heard him call her Sunny. "Do you expect all people to like you?" "No. That's why I want to get you to like me."

Since the next day was New Year’s Day, Alice could hear cheerful music at every corner she went. After arriving there, Alice called Zayden to ask him where he was. It was still cold outdoors because it had just snowed a few days before. The weather forecast also predicted it would continue to snow in the next few days. “I’m at the end of the road.” Zayden said. The chill made Alice wince. With a smirk, she sniffed and mumbled, “Why must we gather outside? You do know it’s much warmer inside the mall, don’t you? Well, just wait for me there.”

MITCH "DAD, WHY DO we have snow all the time?" Addison asked. She has crouched on the floor ahead of them, running her fingers through the snow. Her mother would have chided her, but Anna wasn't here so Mitch didn't say anything about it. "Don't you like the snow?" He asked. She stood up and came towards them. "I like it," she said, holding Mitch's hand. "I'm just wondering. Our teacher at school taught us there were four seasons. But here, it seems like we are always in winter."
