Behind Him

Behind Him

Better to let adults establish its meaning first. Louelita placed the blanket on the floor between them. Not over the child. Not against her body. Neutral ground. After several long seconds, Talia removed one hand from her ear and touched the yellow edge. Her choice. No one spoke. The lower suite gradually warmed. The cards were gone, leaving behind a bare wall that looked stupid and honest. The bench remained. The bathroom door remained open. The weighted blanket now seemed less like support and more like evidence. Eventually, Talia lifted the yellow blanket into her lap, although she did not wrap herself in it.

The Timekeeper Dynasty Series- The Wolf Princess

The Timekeeper Dynasty Series- The Wolf Princess

She smiled to her friend before stepping back so she could open it. I had no idea what my little light had put inside the basket, so I was just as curious as Genevieve and Rayan to see what it held. As the two of them began pulling items from the basket, I noticed there were the usual baby care items such as different types of bath wash, sleepers, onezies and sock, but there at the bottom there was a special gift for the two of them, which was a magenta blanket made of fae silk that had the pup's name embroidered on it in silver and royal blue, along with two wolves in their respective white and black, the colors of Genevieve and Rayan's wolves. Genevieve pulled the blanket into her face and

Read this book, and tell your friends too! Uplifting story about change and growth. Very well written with such an original world and story. I’m trying to not type any spoilers, but for book 2 I’d be ecstatic to read any of the other timekeepers’ storylines. Beautiful work author KP, beautiful <3

I love every moment of this book. I was glue to the book and could not stop reading this. I highly recommended this book to read and understand it. I love it breath taking. Hoping there will be more soon.

UNTAMED

UNTAMED

The cacophony of voices and camera flashes only added to the drama. Seraphina, Mace's niece, couldn't resist the allure of the moment. She pulled out her phone and began recording the spectacle. Her young, rebellious spirit found humor in the situation, and she couldn't resist adding her own snarky commentary, clearly targeted at her uncle. "Uncle Mace, this is some top-notch entertainment," Seraphina quipped as she captured the destruction of the Jeep on her phone. "You should consider charging admission for this show." The crowd of onlookers watched with a mix of shock and amusement, unsure of what to make of the fiery woman taking her anger out on a billionaire's car. It was a surreal and

The Unbearable Game

The Unbearable Game

Her touch was like a remedy, icy, and yet it ignited a deeper longing within me. A nocked arrow must find release. At this moment, I realized something was wrong as I had never been so out of control as I was today. There had to be something in the air. I tried hard to push her away, but like an octopus, she immediately clung to me again, lighting fire everywhere on my body. Suddenly, I saw a red dot in the mirror. What? I threw the curtains open and found three mobile phones facing the room. The live stream chat was scrolling, with 20,000 people online. The protagonists of the live broadcast were none other than me and Heather.

Expect The Unexpected

Expect The Unexpected

I don’t have batteries, but I’d be more than happy to let you use me to get off ;) Cassidy: Doubtful. Go to bed. We have school in the morning. And this conversation never happened. You still keep to yourself at school Collin: Well, I’m already in bed. My mouth goes dry as an image pops up, and it’s Collin shirtless laying in a messy bed. A gray blanket was strategically thrown over his lower half to cover the goods. A trail of dark brown hair trailed from his navel downward, disappearing under the blanket. One of Collin’s legs was sticking out. The blanket was positioned, showing enough of his hip. I had to question if he was naked or just wearing a thong. Either way, HOT.

I loved Cassidy from the Princes of Ravenswood and was so happy that she got her own story. I expected everything to be sassy and quick witted. what was completely unexpected was how much love there is around her, from her mums to her brother (eventually) and Collin to be so patient and accepting.

Ahh another great story by Bryant!! Collin and Cassidy are such an adorable couple! Despite the traumatic experience, it goes to show how one is not defined by one's scars, and oh to be loved, cared for, and to be seen by a Collin Oscar Cole, I am so in love with your fictional men, seriously!!

Unbound

Unbound

My fingers reached behind her head and untied the knot holding the blindfold in place. The fabric peeled away. It was damp. Not damp. Soaked. The entire inside of the cloth clung to itself from hours of tears. Interesting. I tossed it onto the bed before reaching for the gag. The knot came undone quickly, and I pulled the strip of cloth from between her teeth. A deep red mark remained at the corners of her mouth. "Luna." Still nothing. I gave her shoulder a firm shake. "Luna." Another. Nothing. I clicked my tongue.

Julien closed his eyes briefly. "One moment," he said, to me or to the universe, it was hard to say. He stood. At the door he turned back. "Don't go anywhere," he said. I pulled the blanket over my knees. "I'll be here," I said. He went upstairs. I sat in the dim living room and listened to the distant, muffled sounds of a slipper being located, and felt something settle in my chest that was warm and unhurried and not frightening at all. Outside the snow had stopped. The world was very quiet and very white. I was, I thought, exactly where I was supposed to be.

All The Unsaid

] The skeptical murmurs grew into a roar until I decided it was time to drop a real shocker. I pulled out a thick file with a serious look, "I never thought Yvette would try to smear my name like this online. Well, no more secrets. It's all coming out."

Her Choice To Make

Her Choice To Make

“Do you want a blanket?” That was when it hit me. Not a slap. Not a scream. Just… that. A blanket. A small, human thing in the middle of this nightmare. And it nearly undid me. “A blanket?” I croaked, laughing bitterly through the tears that threatened to rise. “You think that’s going to fix anything?” “No,” he said softly. “But it’s what I can give.” I looked away. My body trembled uncontrollably, but I forced myself to breathe through it. In. Out. Steady. Slow.

The Heir Comes Home

The Heir Comes Home

Like someone had tried to erase it. Or claw their way through it. My fingers hovered over the seam. The whisper sighed beneath the floor. Little heir. The plank popped loose. I flinched. Damien moved closer instantly, but did not touch me. Inside the narrow space beneath the floorboards was a bundle wrapped in faded white cloth. A baby blanket. My baby blanket. I knew it before I touched it. Pale cotton. Frayed edges. Tiny blue flowers stitched along one corner. Only now, silver thread had been wrapped around it.
