The "Stasis-Net" was a marvel of hostile engineering. It didn't just surround the moon; it "locked" its local spacetime. To the observers in New Aethelgard, the moon appeared frozen in a permanent, silvery-white glare. The tides of the sapphire seas, already chaotic from the planet’s shifting orbit, suddenly stalled. Without the moon’s rhythmic pull, the oceans began to "pool" at the equator, threatening to drown the lower geothermal vents.

It was a Signature. The North answered. From the deep woods to the high peaks, ten thousand voices rose in a single, un-audited harmony. We were the "Too Much." We were the "Glitches." We were the "Apex." And as the sun finally broke fully over the horizon, the violet-silver light of the Moon-Apex merged with the natural gold of the dawn, erasing the last shadows of the 175 layers. The Audit is over. The Sovereign is home.

The disappearance of the moon was not just an unusual event in the sky; it was a death sentence. The Purge-Moon, now revealed to be anchored in a hidden "Sync-Orbit" on the far side of the planet, started its gravitational sabotage, causing the Earth to groan. Justice North sat behind his desk while Tiger and Fury had taken seats perched on the sides of the massive piece of furniture. Joy swallowed, waiting for the last person to arrive. Dr. Treadmont finally showed up for the meeting Joy had asked for. He closed the door behind him. “What did you wish to speak about?” “Moon believes he is at site four.” Silence greeted that statement until Dr. Treadmont asked a question. “What the hell is that?” “There were remote sites we were relocated to after we were freed from Mercile,” Fury answered. “We were hidden from the press and given time to assimilate into life outside of Mercile.”

How fucking lame is that? ‘The mobile,’ Ares grumbles from the abyss. His reminder brings my attention to the hanging structure above my son’s bed. Walking closer, I gaze at it. It is beautifully crafted. The tent covering the moon is a beautiful navy blue, constellations’ decorate the top, reminding me of the night sky. Underneath sits the triple moon. Upon closer inspection, a key sits in the full moon at the center. Wolves circle the moon, their howling and running figures hanging by fish wire.

Ash shifts again, his paws moving away from their original places, but still keeping me pinned down. Snow continues to fall at a steady pace, the wind growing slightly and the sky becoming darker. A few minutes after the house lights up Mikki trots out of the forest with Tori, Ally, Vic and Carson with her. They pause at seeing us, but then trot over to the door where they shift and go inside, all murmuring.

Cilyna gave her a look that dripped in fear as Kaynon say down beside her and took her hand in his. "Whatever it is, the kids will be safe. I will give my life to insure their's will continue." Kaynon mind linked Cilyna in an attempt to call her racing heart. "Alright, so what is this ominous prophecy?" Cilyna asked. "We are directly desended from the first chosen of the moon goddess. The only wolves to know of Kyrie and Dante. The moon goddess told them when all species joined as one again, all the gods and goddess's would return to the earth and it would be the end of existence as we know it." her mother spoke slowly after a deep breath.
