It had no scent. It didn't even have a shadow. It was a cataract over the eye of the universe, and as it descended, the vibrant colors of the Silver Peaks began to fade.

Apollo was clearly sunrise, and the two men standing at the center of the clearing, were Day and Night.

The glow brightened. Then suddenly— Another faint light appeared beside it. A softer glow. Pale blue. Luna’s eyes snapped open. “What was that?” Mira smiled. “The Moon of Tides.” Luna stared at the glowing energy in her hand. “I can use other moons too?” “Not all of them,” Mira explained. “But some may answer your call.” Kael and Aeron watched from the hill below. Aeron whispered. “That’s new.” Kael nodded slowly. “And powerful.”

Asteria POV. Looking into his beautiful violet-blue eyes, I smile to myself. When I think about me being a potential hybrid. That couldn’t be possible, could it? “When is the next full moon?” I ask as he pulls his phone from his back pocket and types away on it. “Three weeks.” He shows me the screen on his moon app and it’s not just any moon, it’s a super moon. “Ok, we can work with this. You are already changing. For your first shift, we will need to be at the beach mansion.” I tell him and he looks at me, confused.

Justice North sat behind his desk while Tiger and Fury had taken seats perched on the sides of the massive piece of furniture. Joy swallowed, waiting for the last person to arrive. He closed the door behind him. “What did you wish to speak about?” “Moon believes he is at site four.” Silence greeted that statement until Dr. Treadmont asked a question. “What the hell is that?” “There were remote sites we were relocated to after we were freed from Mercile,” Fury answered. “We were hidden from the press and given time to assimilate into life outside of Mercile.”
