It was a book filled with spells of forbidden magic. The more she used it the more she would lose herself the more. Forbidden magic was forbidden for a reason. She had an extent she was supposed to use the book too and it was getting to that extent she could feel it but she didn't care anymore. I look back at the book in my hands, trying to ignore the blonde Goddess that is standing in the middle of my bedroom. Mia glances in my direction and she begins to chuckle under her breath. "Is that a good book?" She asks me between her giggles. "It's great," I say a little too cheerfully. "You are holding it upside down," Mia says with a smirk on her face. "Holding what upside down?" I ask stupidly. "The book," Mia giggles. "You are holding it upside down." Looking down at the book, it is upside down. Slamming the cover shut, I place the book on the table in front of me. "Are you ready for bed?"

But none of them are what I need.

It was hand written. She went on, flipping the book and stopping to read through some parts of it. It was a book about spells and she found herself laughing at the silliness of the thought that magic was still in existence. Some of the spells in the book made Matilda to shake her head and conclude that the book had been written during the time that witches existed. Some of the recipes in the book had ingredients like a two day old crow's blood, the crushed bark of a cider tree, four leaved clovers, mint leaves that had bloomed in the summer and many other bizarre ingredients.

I quickly glance back down at the page trying to seem uninterested in his god-like physique before his voice rings out. “You know Firefly.” His voice rings out. I keep my head down and try to sound uninterested, “Hmm?” I see him start to walk towards me in my peripherals, “Just so you’re aware. Your book is in fact. Upside down.” he retorts, coming to a stop right next to me. I blink and really look at the page for the first time to see that it was in fact upside down. My face heats up in embarrassment. “Go one keep reading, don’t let me stop you.” he says with a smile. “Maybe that’s one of your many powers. Upside down reading.”

They will help you understand more of how to use your magic.” I looked at the titles of the books curiously. ‘Under a Full Moon’, ‘Selene the Blessed’, ‘To Ride A Wild Hunt’, and one enigmatic tome titled ‘Panacea Obscura”.
