The creature's back broke the surface, a good nine meters across, its skin half-clear on top, dark gray underneath. They could even make out its last meal through its belly: Giant squids, deep-sea worms—all formidable beings from the Abyss, reduced to prey. Among them, semi-transparent shapes—clearly the notorious Ocean Eater Eels. "Remember, Ocean Eater Eels grow by devouring each other," the informant hastily reminded them. Aledir complied and flew away until the mountain appeared a lot smaller from where they were. Kiran gasped as she noticed a dark form slowly float to the surface of the ocean. It seemed huge and long, like a giant serpent. The thought of seeing one again made her tremble in fear. But what rose to the surface wasn't a serpent. It was the head of a giant silvery white eel. It had a round lifeless eye that resembled a giant pearl, and blinding white skin that had an iridescent sheen under the light. Its mouth was ajar, flaunting its giant sharp teeth and spilling pitch black fluid onto the surface of the ocean. Part of its long body seemed to be stuck deep underwater.

Her nose was small, pointy and upturned, and her eyes that looked almost too large for her head, are iridescent compound eyes that bulge out of her skull with no eyelids. Her long whiplike tongue flashes out and licks them clean. Ash does his best not to flinch as she seems to be staring at him.
