“Smart. Hide it in habit. That’s how they trained young minds.” “Any major standouts?” I asked. Andy nodded, a little too fast. “The history section.” I raised an eyebrow. “Yeah?” “It’s not just world history. I found timelines on werewolf wars, vampire treaties, coven migrations, hybrid purges… and something that looks like pantheon lore. Like, actual accounts of god and goddess activity.” My lips parted. “Say that again?” He pulled a thin volume off the top of a growing pile and handed it to me. The title was in an old dialect—one I could read only because of the Goddess blood thrumming in my veins. Divine Imprints: The Last Age Before Silence.

Caitlin sat in her large room in Dunvegan in Castle at a writing desk, looking out the window at the sunset sky. She examined the torn page McCleod had given her, holding it up to the light. She slowly ran her fingertips along the embossed, Latin letters. They looked and felt ancient. The entire page was so beautifully and intricately designed, and she marveled at the intricate colors along the paper’s edges. Back then, she realized, books were made to be works of art in and of themselves.

Fredrick just shook his head, but said nothing. Remembering my father and what he meant to me, I turned my head so Fredrick couldn't see and let the cold tears slide slowly down my face, drenching the pillow. Those were the first tears I cried as a vampire. It wouldn't be the last, but I assure you, I made others shed plenty more. Fredrick later told me that the Revolutionary War began on that day, my first day as a vampire. On that day, the Battles of Lexington and Concord were the first of the war ... and we were right in the middle of it all. But that was many years ago.

Eyes may change shape, hands will change, and hair and eyebrows will gradually thicken and change color. She snapped the book shut and opened the next one. ...The belief in vampires and bloodsucking demons is as old as man himself and may go back to prehistoric times... Grabbing the last of the books she’d taken down from the shelf, she flipped the pages until she found what she was looking for. A smile of satisfaction covered her face as she skimmed that page

Honestly, I know this is not the best work out there and this is definitely not my best work. I will not ramble about how I started writing this book only for fun and how it became a paid story. No. I just wanted to stop by and let you all know that this book is actually a part of a series called PERFECT FOR YOU. Vincent and Joyce’s book is actually book 2 in the series. Richard, Misoo and Beau have their own book and so do Jordan and Aubrey, as well as Olivia Stanton.

But I managed to keep myself awake every few minutes, driven by the resilient motive that I must find something about the curse tonight. It’s the least I could do, after all the help and kindness Andrew has shown me. I stood in front of the last shelf. It was the only thing standing between me and the truth behind Andrew’s curse. I pulled out a few more books. They all had similar topics—ships, Viking wars, and other sorts of things I disliked reading. I wouldn’t have stressed so much in the first place if I’d just noticed the Viking-related tag on the shelf. After hours of searching, I still had no information about Andrew’s curse. It was sad and defeating, but I wasn’t planning to quit. Th

This book is so interesting to read! Every chapter is engaging and smooth. I'm going to keep following to see where this plot drives too. I'm excited about a lot of things. I hope things end well btw Phil and Vera.

You can practically feel the emotions from each character and as you keep on going, it's impossible not to get addicted. I can feel Vera's struggle right off the bat and I want to see where it goes. Kudos to the Author 🥹...️...

“I suppose you can say that we are somewhat related, but I didn’t expect the two of you to know each other as well.” George knew where to draw the line so he concluded, “It is indeed a small world. Those books happened to be chosen by you as well.” “What I did was merely pull a few titles off your shelf,” Andrew said and shrugged, but he was indeed curious who the books were for. Those were some of the difficult books in George’s collection. One could say he was a bit irritated when he did the selection. He originally went to look for George, but the latter said he needed some time to wrap up a project so he left him with a request while George went on to finish his work. “Since CEO Andrew i

Mary Davies I felt like I was dreaming, Hawk Andrews remembers me. I feel so happy and relieved, it was as if a great burden was lifted off my shoulders. After trying my best to avoid the older Mr Andrews, even though I was thirsty, I didn't leave the room, not until he was gone. But by the time I came back to my room after getting water, my two books were missing from my bed. My journal and the novel I was working on. I didn't waste time in heading over to Hawk's room, because I could only think of him as the one who took it. And here I was now.

I didn't think I would enjoy this book, but I did. I commend the writer for a good job. The unexpected plot twist at the middle kept me glued and I couldn't stop reading. I enjoyed reading, it makes me angry, sad and happy. This is one of the best books I have read on this app.

Friendly advice. DO NOT READ!!! The book starts good, but around the middle and especially at the end is SOOO BAD. Too many clichés just to keep the book going. The writer loses tracks of characters and plot lines, leaving plot holes. There is barely any logic in what is written. HORRIBLE BOOK!!!

The very name made my blood run hot with rage. For years, I had believed the story passed down to me—that my parents had been murdered in a random act of violence, gunned down in the streets when I was just a child. It wasn’t until recently that I had learned the truth. The DeLucas had ordered their deaths. They had ripped my family apart, left me orphaned, and I had spent my entire life clawing my way through the ranks of the Bratva to make sure I would never be powerless again.

The best approach depends on your tolerance for that unsettling, gothic atmosphere she perfected. I started with 'Flowers in the Attic' and just went chronologically by publication date from there—Dollanganger, Casteel, Cutler, Landry. It felt like the purest way to experience how her themes and that signature formula evolved. The ghostwritten stuff later gets murky, but the early run has a consistent, darkly fascinating logic if you follow publication order.

Honestly, the prequels written after her death, like 'Garden of Shadows', are best saved until after you've read the original series they connect to. Reading them first strips away all the mystery that makes the first books so compelling. The shock value is completely diluted if you know all the family secrets ahead of time. I made that mistake with the Landry series and regretted it; the reveals in 'Ruby' just fell flat.

Stick to the core series in order, and treat the newer additions as optional, distant echoes. The prose in those later books lacks the same visceral, almost fever-dream quality that makes the originals so uniquely uncomfortable.
