I get in the house as and find sarah sitting sick worried about the wild leaves she is expecting. "Stop worrying a lot the medicine will be here" i say to her. "Andrew has never been this late" she says as she gets up supporting herself with a walking stick. It immediately starts raining heavily, she looks far in the forest as lightning struck the trees. Back in the mountains, Andrew a well built and strong alpha male runs through the tall trees. He runs as fast as he could back to the hideout, it was so windy and raining heavily and he could hardly see his path, his heart was pumping so fast and his breathe was equally fast, the thunderstorm becomes so loud and he could not go any further,

CHARITY POV Andrew and I are looking over the map in the makeshift war room. We’re strategizing and finding the best advantage points, and any traps that waits for us. The beta of New Moon is in the middle of an explanation when Matt blows in, rage in his bright blue irises. “Andrew, leave,” he growls, his chest heaving, his eyes shifting between black and their normal color. Andrew’s eyes slide between us, concern in his frown lines, but he doesn’t say more, leaving without a word.

“I didn’t have to. She was your best friend, not me. There’s nothing I’m gonna tell you, alright? Nothing. That’s up to her.” I stood frozen as he walked away. All I could do was sigh in disappointment. What were they hiding from me? I surrendered to the floor, hugging my knees as I began to notice the monsters again. The undead that lurked in the halls were the bigger problem. The hope for a miracle sounded too ludicrous to me. But what other options could I consider? “Okay, how about the rooftop? It could be empty, though,” Andrew said in a low voice. He was standing, the same marker still in his hand. He leaned one arm on the armchair as he drew something on its platform.

Aaron took big strides all the way toward the front of the Heaven Array. At that moment, there were five miniature arrays on the Heaven array. Anyone who wanted to participate merely needed to pick one up, and it would be counted as a registration to compete. Aaron calmly picked one up in front of all those alchemists. The small array was green in color and had a green glow to it. It looked like an ancient green gem and had several runes on it. It looked very nice. Aaron grabbed the array and faced the angry Rudeus, saying, "I'll take part!"

She had seen the dark. She had seen her own blood drip down. She had met Death. She had touched the devil. As she gasps for air. Her dagger fell. Her hair flowing free as the cold wind entered the castle. The dark clouds hovering over her home. She stared into his eyes, those lifeless eyes. Her fingers touched her wound and felt her blood seep through. She kneeled to the throne. She prepared for her death. But a shadow held her hand. She smiled closing her eyes and letting him take her away. As he did. She saw her memories pass by her eyes. Her mother. Her father. The once cheerful life. She smiled.

I listen to new footsteps entering the pack house, the smell of roasted meat and the heavy, bitter homebrew Endova is known for whispering through the air and mingling with new voices, new bodies in the room. I sense Mercy’s departure, her soft, floral scent replaced by new smells, new hands on my body. Someone tilts my head up so I can drink water. Someone replaces the water with something else, whiskey so young it burns my throat and jolts me back to awareness. I’m not sure how much time has passed by this point, but now I’m sitting with my back braced on the overturned bench, facing Andrew, while ripping into a turkey leg like I haven’t eaten in days. Andrew’s a hot mess. His blond hair s
