Axel shot me a sideways glance, his eyes narrowing slightly before returning his attention to her. "We appreciate your hospitality," Axel began, clearing his throat to continue, but Valkyrie cut him off with a wave of her hand. "I am Valkyrie, remember?" she repeated, her eyes glinting with a knowing light as she flashed her rotten teeth once more. Valkyrie's eyes seemed to cloud over, her gaze drifting inward as she spoke. "She is feeling a sharp pain... because she has refused to regenerate her bond with her mate. And she is pregnant." I felt like I'd been punched in the gut, my eyes wide with shock as I stared at Valkyrie. But Axel's face remained impassive, his expression a mask of calm.

*****Xena's POV***** Valkyrie sized me up again with her gaze and went back to resting her head on the couch she sat on. “Val, I'm sorry.” I went ahead to apologize again for the untenth time. Valkyrie was stubborn and hard to please, I still wondered just how we both became best friends again. “Keep your damn apology, Xena!” She let out as she groaned. “Fuck! I shouldn't have drank too much.” She cursed, rubbing her forehead again.

We landed with my back facing the ground full of marbles, shattered bottles, and garbage while she landed in a kneeling position with her blazing eyes still staring at me and her hand on my neck. “Never forget that I AM MIKHA’EL,” She said in a thundering voice that made the whole place shake, and she stood up and spread her wings and flew away in her phoenix form. Like nothing happened. Yes, I am nothing compared to her. HE IS MICHAEL who disguises himself as a teenage girl. WTF?

Victoria replied and flagged down a taxi when she got outside the mall. "What are you trying to do?" Derrick asked, surprised. Valerie after getting a earful from Adira, introduced Jade when it all ended. “This is Jade, she should be welcomed,” Valerie said introducing Jade to Adira before turning to Jade, “this is Adira, she’s the zeta and one of the elders of the Aletha Wolfpack.” She finished and Jade said her greetings.

I just stood there, in the secluded road, all alone as the autumn breeze caressed me gently, reaching deep into my soul. I felt like a diaspora, standing there in the strange, dark valley. Shades of red, brown and black diademed the canvas, yet not getting mixed together, as if they harboured misogyny.
